Thanks! Yeah it was a great journey. Totally worth the effort. the paddling up is no longer an issue since quite some time. The biggest tip is TIMMING! if you work your timming you can save a lot of energy and work it out even not having the best paddling skills. So spend lots of time just standing and observing how the bumps pass you and notice the sequence and how steep they are. Go for the second or third followed by the big first. Always let a big one pass you and paddle hard for the following

You can use anything with anything. You just have to make it compatible. You have top notch gear. A loop and a knot is just a detail

The kite will spin because the bridle is connected to multiple points on the leading edge so it pulls half the kite into the wind

Thanks. In fact I didnt have much chance to learn and progress surf foil because of local conditions and lack of swell but I think is ok if you are familiar with the wing and the pitch control. Its a very fun and efficient wing but you need to keep the speed and the precise stance to avoid stalling

@@cefirmeza OK…I made 2 attempts today, both of which ended up in big a big splash. But I definitely felt it and think a faster kite would have helped (I was on my 11m). #foilgoal2024

Thanks again. Yeah I think all depends mostly on your local conditions. For sure it will make LW winging easier and as you learn how to paddle up it also make you better foiler and start with less effort taking advantage of the pumping on tiny bumps to get started

Hey buddy. This is my 3rd dw board with a year and a half of practice. 7’1 x 18” 85L and a Lift 120ha foil of 775cm2. Definitely not a beginner combo

@cefirmeza yeah definitely not, do you paddle up with that set up? Nevermind didn't see the paddle in the shot, sick riding. Foil on🤙

Thanks. Yeah the long and narrow boards definitely make it doable e relatively easy when you have the right technique and timming. Foil size is not a problem anymore when matched the board and right conditions. The learning curve is really steep but rewarding as they say
