    Great video my friend . You can always go to Walmart in the fishing section and get a $25 boat seat with a foldable back rest and upgrade to a more comfortable seat . 👍🍻🍻 I even picked one up to replace the worn/torn seat on lawnmower .

    Horizontal stringing is usually human error. So if you took that out you would have 1/2" groups with both pellets at that distance. Plenty good performance.

  • @johnndavis7647
    @johnndavis7647 ปีที่แล้ว

    Measuring center of hole too center of hole it looks like both of those groups are well within "a minute of squirrel" accuracy. For bigger pests like raccoons and nutria I think I would like all the penetration I can get. That might be where the heavy pellets are worth the price. I see would like to see a Paul Harrel "Meat Test " sort of experiment to see what difference there is. Thanks for the video

    @joeramirez7879 ปีที่แล้ว

    For accuracy i wouldn't use Crosman pellets because they do vary in size and weight that's why they would be inconsistent in a really good rifled barrel like weihrauch or Beeman R9 luxus.

  • @joeramirez7879
    @joeramirez7879 ปีที่แล้ว

    H&N field target trophies work great with my weihrauch's hw95 luxus models in .22 and my hw 95 in .177 like sig venom pellets, both one hole groups at 25 yards.

  • @sid35gb
    @sid35gb ปีที่แล้ว

    With groups like that a 24 yards your best path to more accuracy is to spend some time learning the principles of marksmanship and applying them consistently on every shot. Because an average Joe at 24 yards should be able to stack pellets on top of each other if you apply yourself. Have fun now.

    this is not an accurate measurement of accuracy. You shouldve tested the 15.8g jsb pellets. 18.3g is too heavy.

    Hi there from Northern Ireland, I have been trying the Crossman, Premier out tonight in my FX Crown, .22, (full power, UK, FAC), 700mm barrel, rifle and I was very impressed. Each Crossman pellet is well made, I noted deformation on the skirts of some JSB pellets I was using. I ordered a sample tin of Crossman, Premier, 19 grain pellets and I am really excited to see what they can do. Another great pellet is Air Arms, Field, 18 grain. I am able to put ten pellets near enough through the same hole with these. I have ordered a tin of Air Arms, Field , 16 grain to give them a go. The Air Arms pellets are also made in CZ at the same factory as JSB. Again some of the skirts were deformed on these too. The big elephant in the room is cost, a tin of 400, 14 grin,Crossman pellets are £6 cheaper in the UK than 200 JSB pellets. With that said my Crown also likes JSB pellets.

    I use the Premiers and love them. Rarely any skirt deformation out of the can and provide decent accuracy overall at 75 yards in my Marauder which is arguably the best pcp on the market for it's price point.

    With. You Avenger shooting at 30 yards these were the best to worst. Of the pellets I've shot. 1. A/A Diablo Field 16th 2. JSB Exact Jumbo 3. JSB Hades 4. Crosman Premier H.P. 5. Crosman Ultra Magnum The top three I've shot of to 50 yards with numerous groups that you can cover with a dime. 4.& 5. I've shot out to 30 yards with numerous groups you can cover with a dime. Although overall group sizes aren't as small as with the top three at 30 yards. The worst were the Crosman Premier Piranha followed by the RWS pellets. So for 30 yards or less I'll go with the Crosman Premier H.P. I can get three tins of 500 for the same as one tin of 500 of the top three. But if I want the best most accurate I'll go with the Air Arms Diablo Field.

Every one of my guns shoot them just fine and I don't believe that I could get better groups with a more expensive pellet

    I have a rws Diana 350 magnum that loves crosman hollow points.open sites no scope could have shot that bullseye out at 30 yards.but you put any other pellet in it and it's shooting flyers and 1 here one there it's all bad..then I have a Gamo magnum igt 33mm piston and it only shoots Benjamin destroyers straight..I recently sold my Ruger air magnum after I got my diana.but it only shot Gamo rockets straight.anyway point is no pellets are better than another..it's all about what you're gun likes..it even varies with the same models but 2 different rifles.one will shot pellets A better and one will shoot pellets B better ..there's no such thing as a better pellet

    Just a cpl suggestions. Try crosman pointed 14.3 I have found them to overall shoot a lot better than the HP. Secondly, try slowing the velocity of the 14.3 down to the speed of the 18 gr jsb. That may stabilize them better. Thirdly, get a chrono. It’s absolutely vital in the world of pcp guns. I went and bought my chrono before I bought my first rifle.

    The Premier have Antimony added to make the lead harder, hence why it's brighter than the pure soft lead JSB, need to clean the barrel between different brands for that reason, or accuracy will suffer for many shots, like the test though.

    That is a terrible grouping for a marauder at 24 yards. I get that and better with my Sig ASP20 all the time. My Beeman R7 even better than the Sig. I am sure the Marauder would do much better with a quality pellet.

  • @DouglasLippert
    @DouglasLippert 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is mostly psychological. The JSB pellets cost much more than the Crosman pellets so you "make the shot count." haha. This leads to better accuracy. Crosman pellets are good enough for 99% of plinkers/hunters. Don't fall for the hype. IMO.
