Born and raised in a main stream Christian home. Went to Christian school K-8th grade & College. The Bible talks about being set apart as believers. I never felt separated in main stream Christianity. At age 27 I came into the Truth of keeping Yah’s Torah. For the first time in my life I saw my separation from the world.
My goal is to bring up topics that challenge others to read the Bible for themselves. I’m not a teacher. Just a sister in the Truth trying to spread Yah’s Word.

well firstly the dietary restrictions were part of the mosaic law so during Noah's time God hadn't laid down any restrictions yet (Genesis 9:3), and in the new testament these restrictions were removed, Jesus himself said this (Mark 7:18-19) and later God when Peter had his vision in Acts, so as Christians today we do not have any restrictions in what we can/cannot eat
@@davidboyd1582 When it comes to the topic of how Gods people lived and ate before the law was given in the book of Exodus it doesn't mean that Gods people never had laws or commandments to go by before that. A great example is Exodus 16:27-30 "Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none. Then the Lord said to Moses, How long will you refuse to keep my commands and my instructions? Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out. So the people rested on the seventh day." God does not give the 10 Commandments on Mount Saini until Exodus 20 yet his people knew to keep the Sabbath before that. So to think that God had Noah place 7 of each clean animal makes sense because there would be a larger amount of "food" for God's people to eat after the flood. On a separate note: the Dietary Law was never done away with. Both of those scriptures are taken out of context and read separate in order to make people believe they no longer need to keep the dietary law. The Example of Jesus given in Mark 7 the topic being discussed is not the dietary law. Jesus is addressing the Traditions of man that the Pharasies were performing. They were holding their traditions of man "their handwashing traditions" as more important than Gods laws. The parenthasis in the Bible stating "(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)" is something that interpreters added. It is not scripture. Peters vision in Acts 10 is also taken out of context. If you read further past the vision. Peter himself explains what the vision meant. Acts 10: 27-29 "While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean. So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection...." The vision had to do with people being preached to. No longer separating Jew from gentile with who could be preached the good news of Gods ways and repentance. I’m going to leave you with this Bible verse. Jesus himself says in Matthew 5:18 “For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” Heaven and Earth definitely have not disappeared yet. If we love him should be still be obeying Jesus and keeping the commandments.

Wdym Catholic and Christian? Aren’t Catholics Christians?
Catholics and Christian both believe in Jesus as the Messiah. But their beliefs are not the same. Catholics pray to the saints and mother Mary. They worship these idols and other people as if they are holy. Jesus is the only path to the Father. We are not to worship idols/images or other gods/people. God is a jealous God as makes it very clear that we are not allowed to do that as His people.
We Roman Catholics do not worship Mary or saints in the way you think we do. The Catechism teaches us that only God is to be adored and worshiped, but that doesn’t mean that Mary and or saints can’t be venerated (honored) because of their closeness to God. Praying the rosary is actually a means to be closer to God. Mary, as Jesus’s mother, played a massive role in forming Him, teaching him what it meant to live a faith-filled life and to care for other people. She was with Him at both the beginning and end of His life and such closeness to Jesus is something that every Christian should strive for. In Latin America we have a deep connection to Mary. Celebrations like the Virgen de Guadalupe in Mexico are fascinating, where millions celebrate their faith in God through Mary. Shelby, it's form of worship. It's what we believe and how we want to celebrate our faith. There's nothing wrong with that. In India, for example, people worship different deities even with elephant-shaped heads and that's OK, it's their faith. What's really worrisome is how among some Christian sects there's a campaign to divide, insisting on how others, in this case us Catholics are "wrong", how our form of worship is not OK. In the meantime, so many people abandon religion, have lost faith and it seems "woke" ideologies are taking over and indoctrinating our youth. It would be best to find unity in our belief in God and Jesus Christ as our Savior and work together to spread His message of love.
Unfortunately, that's not what the Bible teaches. Messiah said He did not come to bring peace but a sword. To bring division between true believers and false believers. There is only one mediator between ELOHIM and man. WARNING! The catechism is not the Word of ELOHIM. There is no excuse for changing His Word..
To that say the Catholic Church changed the 10 commandments could you please show me where in the Bible does it number them.
@@JamesDavis-dn3wo the 10 Commandments are listed in Exodus chapter 20. It is the 2nd commandment that the Catholic Church changed. The 2nd commandment is Exodus 20:4-6 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.”
It doesn't matter if they're numbered. They're all there in Exodus 20. Read them. The catholics changed them. The Bible clearly says not to do that. We need to know our Bibles. The catholic Bible is clearly disqualified.

@@JamesDavis-dn3wo there is no number. If you count, there are 10 commandments. It is the 2nd commandment given. They aren’t numbered. But there are only 10 so it’s easy to tell which one is which if you read Exodus.

If you want to know everything you want to know about the Catholic Church read a book called faith of million by Father John O'Brien On page 256 when describing the Catholic miracle of transubstantiation when the church believes that the bread the communion literally becomes Jesus father O'Brien says this:

To believe that is to re-crucify Messiah over and over. Heb 10:10 says He was crucified once for all. It's blasphemy. It doesn't matter what any priest says, it's what ELOHIM says in His Word.
My Baptist church says Jesus arose on a Sunday which is why we worship on that day. The Sabbath is for the Jews. We all know HE wasn't born on 12/25 and yes Easter is pagan too. Ressurection Day is what we call it. Some say Jesus was born in September...others say April. Satan has had 2000 years to confuse the calendars so we really don't know. Catholics are so deceived and don't get me started on this Pope. Did not know about the second commandment....thanks for your research! Maranatha!

People can be grafted into Israel when they believe in Christ as their savior. Jesus kept the Saturday Sabbath. It is to be kept forever. Exodus 31:16-17 “16 Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. 17 It is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’” I hope this was helpful!

Which Christian commandments? The Coptic, Eastern rite, European Lutheran, or Baptist. Alot of people number them differently or put emphasis on certain portions and cut out the text. It's simply exodus 20:2. 12 lines of text read straight through.

Amen! Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance. He is my El, and I praise Him - Elohim of my father, and I will exalt Him. Ex 15:2 This is a hard message you presented for people, especially married people. It needs to be said! All of us individually need to come to that decision. I coined a saying, "I don't want to be the wife of Qorah/Korah." Some people may need to go read about Qorah. I'm not saying families should split. Amein! ELOHIM wants 100% of us. We must be willing to give up everyone and everything for Him. 99.9% won't cut it. The wolves have come into the church. They told us that ELOHIM has changed. But ELOHIM says He has not changed. His Commandments are His Nature and His Character. Messiah and all of the Apostles were obedient to His Law. Even Paul, Acts 24:14.
