This is one of my new favorite movies. The music, action, directing. All wonderful. I LOVE Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone together!
The best scenes are this one, the one where the book with the patriotic title is thrown away, and the final one where the fans mourn when John blows himself up. I think this is the best macaroni western movie ever made.

Duck, You Sucker aka A Fistful of Dynamite (1971)
Since when did they have MG-42 machine-guns in 1913? They weren't introduced into use by the Wehrmacht till 1942, hence the name. A bit of the old artistic-licence futuristic anachronism being practised in this one by Sergio Leone.
The force from that blast always gets me everytime.

Yes, this was a real explosion of a bridge built only for the movie. I visited the location in Almeria this year, there are still ruins. An amazing experience.

Них спецэфекты👀 это как в анекдоте про чукча, отправили его в армию он с неё пришёл и вот старейшины его спрашивают рассказывай как там и все такое, а он отвечает нельзя мол военная тайна и тд и тп. Пригласил его самый старый шаман и он ему все рассказал что служил в ракетных войсках и есть там боеголовки которые уничтожают целые города. Про это узнал шаман и говорит давай сделаем такую и направим на Москву станем главные в стране, согласился чукча нашли самое большое дерево которое было набили в него пороха соорудили фитиль всё приготовили и подожгли ебануло так что все погибли остался один тот старый шаман вылез он из под обломков увидел происходящее и говорит: бляяя что сейчас в Москве твориться🙈

James Coburn was one of the most gentlemanly people anyone could meet. A couple of friends met him in a bar in a Montreal hotel many years ago. It was around 2am and the barman wanted to close the bar. James Coburn and my two friends were the only people left, then James Coburn walked over to my friends and asked them if they wanted another drink. Needless to say they did, so Coburn told the barman that he and his friends wanted more drinks. They sat and talked for more than an hour about everything and nothing, just like old friends. Next morning at breakfast James Coburn came over to their table and asked them if they were OK, thanked them for an enjoyable evening and told them to have a good day. A nice gentleman.
Make someone work when they should be home with family? Doesn't sound like a gentleman to me.
