I loved this sale. I showed this at treatment today to a couple of ladies they had such fun watching it with me for the second time. They love vintage and I knew they would get super excited to watch your finds. I don’t know how old your pumpkin is but a lovely lady saw us watching and chimed in one of her old plastic pumpkins had a spot where you could put a fancy cigarette holder in it. She is 85 and said she is not sure if your pumpkin is newer than hers. She said she never smoked but it kept an old cigarette holder in it. She described it like what Jessica Rabbit smoked on her pail. She said then she put the candle in the bucket however her handle is still on hers that her daughter now has it. She said they were a gift to tobacco farmers from cigarette companies. They were an item given to the farmers. She said they would have been given to North American farmers at that time as we are right on the border to the USA. Thought I’d share incase that fit your pumpkin or if you come across another in your travels. She recalled at different farmer events you would see them on tables with different cigarette’s in them and then on plates that were labeled with a logo or farmer’s event.
