FYI, there are a handlful of land mammals roughly as heavy as Paraceratherium, and 2 or 3 of them may actually be bigger.

It's really nice of the team to give us 1 more animal for Early Access. I look forward to using that updated Acrocanthosaurus once I get a much better PC. It looks much better than the old one and JWE's Acro by a longshot. I wonder if we'll see social animations like JWE2 in PK. The Tutorial Park looks nice. I hope that we'll see more scenarios brought into the game. I'm looking forward to the Desert and Grassland biome when it's ready.

I wonder if that Tiny's Fast Food is hinting towards Leptictidium for Full Release. I don't think Microraptor and Archaeopteryx will be the only mini exhibit animals. That would be an interesting mini exhibit animal. So far the only two mini exhibit animals are part of the Maniraptoran family. More mammals, cynodonts, or arthropods would be nice. Creatures like Icaronycteris, Mongolarachne, Manipulator modificaputis, or even Thrinaxodon would be great to have. This new scrubland biome will be interesting to see. I look forward to building on it and the Temperate map when it comes out. So I guess we're getting more species in addition to the 14. Of course this will be a little after the Beta is released. Still I'm excited for it, I wonder which of these four species we're getting. I'm thinking Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Smilodon, and Coelodonta. Of course it could be the three remaining species on the Early Access Roster.

I loved seeing the Spinosaurus in this Dev Diary. It looks so much better than it did in the first game. I wonder if it will have a mission in the main campaign? That new pterosaur is a lovely one. I thought we were going to get these pterosaurs like Tapejara, Tupandactylus, and Tupuxuara. Question is which one is it out of them? We'll never know until the game comes out I guess same with the mosasaur whether it's Tylosaurus or Hainosaurus. I don't know but it looks like the Gigantspinosaurus shrunk or maybe its just me. I don't remember Gigantspinosaurus being that small in the first game.

The pack hunting was fun to watch. I hope other carnivores will be capable of doing this, we know the Coelophysis isn't capable now and I guess it makes sense given that it's likely more primitive than Velociraptor. I wonder if Dilophosaurus will be capable of pack hunting but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't. Now the Troodon (which is now considered an invalid genus from what I've heard), this is assuming it is in the base game, might be capable of pack hunting. I do hope Velociraptor won't be the only one to perform the pack hunting as it would be cool to see other dinosaurs using it.

I wonder what the last three dinosaurs could be for Early Access ? I'm thinking Stegosaurus, Dryosaurus, and Velociraptor.

I'm not too excited over the Indominus but it looks pretty cool here (more like Untamable Queen in this case). I look forward to the Tylosaurus or whatever that mosasaur was.

The highlighted part is the animal making its territory, that’s why the maps are bigger, the animals need more space to make they’re own territories. Also this territory system can allow you to have multiple species, even herbivores and carnivores together in the same enclosure, as long as they don’t overlap or hunt each other, but be careful, because other herbivores will fight each other too.

Geosternbergia was actually once a different species of Pteranodon when it was discovered, but later in years, scientists found it was somewhat different in body structure ( especially the head crest) to be made a different animal all together. So now instead of Pteranodon sternbergi, we now have Geosternbergia sternbergi. It’s also the same size as Pteranodon. I’m also excited that the pterosaurs not only feed from the fish feeder, but will also attack & eat goats!

I don't know if all of the creatures from the first game will be in it, honestly I'd prefer to see some new stuff more so than the older stuff from the first game. I'm sure some of them may appear in DLCs or Future Updates like when Dominion comes out. I don't mind the new Triceratops, we haven't seen either, who knows maybe the 1993 one will be in there. I don't think placing down water will be like Planet Zoo. I think there will be swimming animations, especially if Prehistoric crocodilians like Deinosuchus or Sarcosuchus appear in the game. I think every dinosaur would have a swimming animation if they do add swimming, as I've heard that theropods could be actually be pretty good swimmers even tyrannosaurs.
