As I ascend the rugged trails of Shivapuri National Park towards Jamacho Height, the rain-dappled leaves of various trees whisper secrets from centuries past. The year 2012 feels like a distant memory, and yet, here I am, surrounded by the same lush greenery that has witnessed countless seasons.
My mind dances between curiosity and contemplation. The air, crisp and fragrant, carries with it the musings of generations. Here are the thoughts and questions that accompany me on this journey:
Time’s Tapestry: How have these hills changed since my last visit? The rustling leaves and the babbling brooks-they’ve seen empires rise and fall, yet their essence remains unchanged. What stories do they hold?
The Call of Peaks: As I climb higher, the peaks emerge-majestic and unyielding. What draws us to conquer summits? Is it the thrill of conquering nature or the quiet communion with something greater?
Footprints of the Past: The trail beneath my boots bears the imprints of countless travelers. Who walked here before me? Were they pilgrims seeking solace or adventurers chasing dreams? Perhaps both.
The Eternal Question: Why do we seek solitude in nature? Is it an escape from the cacophony of life or an invitation to listen-to really listen-to our own hearts?
