@@Heygoodlooking-lk9kgN95 is a medical industry standard for particulate porosity in masks. The 95 refers to the percent of particulates of approximately 0.3 micrometers in diameter that it blocks. FFP2 is the European Union/UK equivalent iirc.

@@Heygoodlooking-lk9kg I wouldn’t say it’s American humor tbh, N95/KN95 is the global standard - Europe uses a different framework than the American/Japanese/Australian/Chinese medical standards and has a wonky import regulation system which is how the FFP2 mask developed. I looked it up and the UK has a hybrid import policy, so you guys use both N95 and FFP2 masks there. Most British government documents actually cite the N95 mask as the preferred mask for COVID prevention (likely the Tory’s way of posturing against the EU and towards the US). I think you may have just not have heard of it since y’all didn’t have the same level of political nonsense over masking that caused our CDC (Center for Disease Control) to begin beating in to peoples heads to use medical-grade N95 masks. But the mask type is commonly used in both countries irregardless

Dude this is a joke swap. Che and Jost give each other jokes to say live on air that the other has never read before. Usually Jost has Che make sex jokes that also insult him (for ex.: “the COVID vaccine is a lot like Michael Che, you barely feel it go in), and Che makes Jost say racist jokes like this. Fortunately the audience understands that Che is writing the jokes for Jost and that he isn’t actually racist

What's hilarious about that is both Colin and Michael voted for President Trump the first go around and they are both by far the best part of SNL in the last 5/6 years. I believe there voted for President Biden this last time though. Curious to hear this slip in the future to see if they go back again this next election.

Trump was delivering A-1 comedic material for four years and counting. Biden is just sad

​@@MrYutbe57 Lmao it makes zero sense they'd vote for Trump, they live in New York. If anyone knows anything about politics, that state goes blue So even if they really wanted Trump to be president (which I doubt in the first place), they wouldn't have had any reason to vote for him

@@reginaldshort8486 That is usually a big part of the joke - Che will almost always say something afterwards like "damn Colin, don't you even realize how bad that sounds?" or just shake his head incredulously. When Che reads one of Colin's jokes, in contrast, Colin usually plays innocent. All part of the schtick.

I do feel like they have this down now so perfectly that it probably doesn't even matter if they are officially "doing" the joke exchange bit - that dynamic is always present. So I imagine when they are writing jokes Colin saying, "oh, I just though of a good one you can give me", and vice versa.
