I never understood this tradition. The valley worked hard to try cleaning the Naugatuck river for decades. And we just throw litter into it annually, and yes they clean them up but the prinicple is moronic. As someone who grew up in the Valley, its dumb shit like this that makes me embarassed to have grown up there. 😂 and this is what ct gets mentioned for lol. CT is pathetic dont let anyone try to comvince you otherwise. The only reason people still live here is they cant afford to move. Its a trash state with good pizza thats ct in a nutshell. Lol the state is visually pretty ngl but the people absolutely ruin its beauty.
