Kaginahare | Sakleshpur | Hidden Gem | Solo trip | Camping | Water Falls | Kannada Vlog | Eng Sub
On my birthday I decided go on a solo trip just like I did last year and a year before. I choose Kaginahare as my destination. It's beautiful and less crowded.
Had option to camp there as well.
Met strangers who are now my friends.
Place : Kaginahare, Sakaleshpur
Distance : 80km from Hassan
Places to check out : View point, Kaginahare Fort, Karigundi, Temple.
You can preety much hike any of the hill there you will be amazed by the view.
You can camp on any hill, there are no hotels nearby though so you might want to carry food or get help fr villagers by paying nominal fee.
If you are not a regular camper and need some help with camping and food you can contact below. Price might seem little high just for food but they kinda provide safety and also help in setting up bon fire (if at all you need help).
Also you get to enjoy private waterfall in their farm. They provide nati/desi style food. A humble family.

There were no long rides post lockdown, so I was very much eager to ride somewhere, my friend Lohith told he was free for 3 days and then we planned the route overnight, we just planned the route but not the places to visit, we didn't even book accommodation. We just wanted to ride and feel the mountain breeze caress us. The roads were super awesome but most of the places were closed, so it was...

Yes, approximately 13kms not exactly. You can hike till Battaramane, camp there and then move on, numbers make it look difficult but take it slow and steady you will be at the top 🙂 just make sure not to put on unwanted weight in your backpack.

Hey. Is there a single way to visit yana caves and vibhuti falls? Google Maps alli bere route ede. Artha agtilla. I'm planning to go this weekend.
Yes there is a road which links both Yana caves and Vibhuti falls. Sirsi inda horag bandmele, you will find a borad which says Yana, take that right. You will find the board just about 2-3kms from Sirsi if I am not wrong 😅 I can share screenshot in IG if you can't find it on maps.
@@SiddarthMV I saw that board in your video. Actually we are not going from sirsi. We are going from belgaum, we will reach there from other side 😅 Anyway we'll figure it out after reaching there. Thank you 😊🙂
@@sharvanimusandi Oh ok, if you are coming from Belgaum you can go to Vhibuthi falls first form there it's easy to go to Yana caves. I found how to reach there on map, search Yana parking lot on map instead of Yana caves 🙂 you will find the road which links both falls and caves. Happy travelling !!

Amazing... dude.... can u please tell if it’s safe for women solo travelers
Yes, it's safe for women solo travelers but I won't recommend camping in Paradise beach if you are alone though. But Gokarna is pretty safe for women solo travelers.
Bro ... women solo drive ge safea 😬
Yes, I met a lot of solo travelers (both men and women). So it's pretty safe but it's always good to be aware of our surroundings. There are good hostels, so you can meet other solo travelers there.

Hi, couple of questions- 1. Can we reach the starting point (mountain base) by motorcycle ? If so, is there a good parking facility ? 2. And I've heard that, there is another route from Somwarpete to trek, which one would you recommend for a first timer ? 3. Is the month of February a good time to trek ?
1. Yes you can reach the base by bike but I would recommend to park your bike on any paid parking spot near temple just to ensure your bike is safe or talk to any hotel and park there give nominal fee for it and then take an auto or walk towards trek entry point. 2. Yes, there is another route from Somwarapete, which is easy but I would recommend to the regular route (difficult but worth it). Just make sure you are fit, work out for like a week or so before going on trek. Take proper breaks and drink water only when body asks for it and you should be good. Start early so that you can take adequate breaks before it gets dark. Carry energy bars. 3. Feb was a good month to trek but now I kinda feel the heat is catching up early due to global warming and I am not sure how green the mountain is but few years down the line Feb was all good for a trek, just check recent photos and decide. Sorry the video has been cut to half cz of some technical issue in YT.
@@SiddarthMV thank you for all the info 👍 🙂
Bro can you please tell me the home stay name
Hello.. I didn't stay in homestay brother. I stayed in hostel on day 1 - Sunrise cafe (right stretch of Main Beach) INR350 Day 2 - Some shack next to Om Shree Ganesh in Om beach, INR 300 Day 3 - Paradise beach Day 4 - Tent stay in Hostelavi ( Siva Tent cafe) near Kudle beach entrance INR 300 All of the above were value for money deal, I was kinda lucky. I got little discount on food as well. Some shacka aren't listed online, If you go there directly you might get lucky and find good deal especially in off season, in season it's better to book in advance. There are couple of homestays in Kumta as well for good price.
From subramanya where to find trek wah and where did you stayed day one night what abt facilities and what doc shld provide for forest office.
Take right from temple and you find a road which leads to trail. There is a road opposite to parking lot. Ask any locals and they will guide you, you can take auto as well but negotiate the price maybe a km from main road. You need not produce any documents but need to pay forest office fee, carry Govt. IDs to be on safer side and this after you trek 6kms ( reach Battaramane) I carried my own tent and stayed in it, no facilities except for water so carry necessary things. Food can be arranged at Battaramane but need to inform in advance, search Battaramane phone number in Google, keep trying cz there won't be network coverage for most of the time.
Why are they wearing life jackets in vibhooti falls?
They probably came from a resort ( Falls included in package). So guess as a safety measure they were provided life jackets by resort/tour organiser.

Nice lapse . Dude how's ur experience using yi 4k . I just bought it a d finding it difficult to click decent . Share your experience
I lost my Yi4K, my experience with it was good. I have 4K+ now and happy with it but you have to get your settings right. You can check my insta for latest footage from 4k+ it does a good job.
is the trekking allowed while its raining for example in July
Sorry for my late reply, Usually they won't allow if it's raining heavily and also it's not safe to trek in heavy rain. Best time would be post September but unfortunately due to climate change we are not sure when monsoon starts and ends. They also won't allow us to trek in peak summer as a precaution of forest fires.
Hi, I am wondering if it’s possible to trek alone without being accompanied by a guide or forest official?
Yes you can for sure. Chances of getting lost if you follow the trekking trail is really "0" just make sure that there are some people around you just in case if you need help.
@@SiddarthMV Thanks a lot!
Very helpful.. since we are planning to treck the hill this Christmas
What is the entry fees?
