Is a Singapore class 3 or 3A driving license sufficient to rent this compact motorhome from AutoRent in Tasmania? I’m planning to visit Tasmania in May, was wondering how’s the collection and returning of campervans like for AutoRent? Did you collect/return their motorhome during the after hours? Was it tough getting an Uber or private hire vehicle to and from the Autorent’s depot?
Hello! I have a class 3A driving license with International Driving Permit (IDP), which were sufficient for the rented motorhome model. Motorhomes should be collected and returned during their stated office hours (else you can check with the customer support for alternatives). The car rental office was right next to the Hobart International Airport, so it was easy to reach by foot maps.app.goo.gl/ALM4DRFiTnVxeyBB6
@@gentlepaths Thanks for your replies!! Btw, was wondering if I should rent a GPS unit from Autorent for AUD 50 or do you think using Google Maps on our mobile phones would suffice?
@@benchen999 Google maps would probably suffice as the routes are pretty updated :)
That's a nice video! Definitely convinced me to do this drive for our trip next March.
amazing -adios,
awesome . :))
What camera are you using ? Love the edit 🥰
Thanks! I'm using Fujifilm X-E3 with a 18-55mm lens
Hi, this is Evie from WWOOF Korea. Thank you for capturing and sharing these beautiful moments from our host farm. We truly appreciate your effort in sharing your experience☺ Actually, I would love to share your video on our Instagram account. Would that be alright with you? Please let me know, thank you!!
Hi Evie, sure thing!
@@gentlepaths Thank you so much! Appreciate it :)
❤
Nice video, editing was really well made. great job! 👍😁

this video is such a vibe! i love it! ❤
Glad you like it!
Hongkong memang salah satu ikon keberhasilan peranakan tionghoa
I went to Hong Kong and Tokyo. Tokyo is far the better city!
Hi, what is the price range of the food?
It varies depending on the type of restaurant and how much you order - prices range from HK $38-65 (per pax) for the restaurants featured here
Xie-xie ni--I can't wait to get back to Hong Kong (and Kowloon-side)! 🙂
Hope you get back soon!
@@gentlepaths I'm hoping to get back there sometime later this year--and can hardly wait! 🙂
Thank you for your video, especially for labeling different neighborhoods, restaurants, and sights! I'm looking at a lot of HK videos while planning for a trip next month, and I think many people's videos can be improved by labeling with names and addresses.
Glad it helps!
👍

Interesting video!
Thanks!
Super cool shots and places, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your kind words! 😃
Used to live down under for couple of years and never try living in a campervan.. Do they charge on daily basis only or we can get cheaper price when rent it on weekly or monthly basis?
Hmm I am not sure if other rental companies offer long-term rentals, but AutoRent Hertz charges by day.
This is the best video about Angkor Wat 😃
Thank you for your kind words!😃
Is there an age limit for doing this? I'm 35 year old guy
There's no age limit, I believe. You can find out more about it here: wwoofkorea.org/en/progress_map_list/gw109-en/ 😊
Hi Lemon&jin. Can I repost your video in a group about farmstay in Vietnam? This look so peaceful and cute
Hi, sure! 😊
You still up for more questions? I was just wondering, 1. how's the living situation? Like does it ever stop being uncomfortable? 2. Do they pick you up from the airport? 3. Does one usually have time to travel to the city or hang out with other people? 4. Is it easy to make friends? 5. Can you juggle between working in the farm and finding work elsewhere that earns you money? And my last question..🙈🙈 sorry if it's a bit much but Do you have your own room? Access to Wi-Fi and your own personal time and space? I'm a bit embarrassed but kindly do reply 🙈😂😂 Thank you🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Happy to answer! 1. It was uncomfortable on the first few days because of the language barrier, cultural and generational differences. However, the hosts were really friendly and made me feel at home. 2. No, actually - Incheon airport (the nearest airport) is about 3-4 hours of bus ride away from the farm’s nearest city. So the host picked me up from the that city's main bus terminal. 3. Yes, you do get time off (non-work days) and you can travel to the city. Depending on the season, you get to meet other WWOOFers at the farm as well. For my case, I was the only WWOOFer during that period of time. Before embarking on the trip, you can check with the host on whether there will be other WWOOFers during the period of your intended stay. 4. As above. I have heard WWOOFing stories from my other friends, and they grew close with the other WWOOFers during their stay. 5. WWOOFing is not remunerated. Whereas you can find remunerated work if you are on working holiday, which needs a specific working holiday visa (in most cases) to allow you to work in the country for >6-12 months. As I was only looking to stay in Korea for ~1 month, I did not apply for a H-1 Visa. 6. Yes! There is Wi-Fi and a private room. After work hours, I mostly chill in the room or watch TV with the hosts. Hope this encourages you to have a go at farmstay for your next trip!
@@gentlepaths thank you🧡 after this corona ish I will most definitely consider it
Wow this is amazing video good job ! I’m planning a trip to Korea soon would it be possible to get in touch?
Sure! :)
Cool vids
Thanks!
I got interested to be a volunteers for wwoof korea from a few days ago 😂 thank u for sharing this videos, but can i ask you some question? Did you get paid?
Sure :) and nope, wwoof hosts do not offer monetary compensation or payment. Most hosts offer lodging and food in return for your work instead.
