The Miniature Horse adventure began at R&K Remarkable Lil MINIATURE Horses in 2014. We became involved in a rescue of 25 horses in a kill buyers herd needing to be placed in private homes ASAP or headed to slaughter. It was a sticky situation & with help, 22 of the 25 horses we placed in homes. One of the horses was an 18 month old miniature stallion that needed to be rescued. I said, " this little precious angel was coming home with us no matter what". That was the beginning. Costumes Showing, Parades, Photo Shoots, Educational Visits. We've owned 10 miniature horses. Purchased world class miniatures from Colorado, Oklahoma, & more. Breeding & the joy of new 16 inch foals & the Heartbreak & devastation of loosing a foal to a horrific dystocia that nearly took the life of our beloved mare. Breeding miniature horses is not for the faint of heart. Feeding & caring for them is critical. We strive to provide the best care. Photo Shoots Offered. Visitors welcome.
