I’ve been trying to ride these for the past 10 years and I finally got in here. These are the fastest office elevators in One WTC at 1800 FPM!! While the cabs are kinda bland the speed definitely makes up for it. 0:00 Car G2 Going Up 1:05 64th Floor Sky Lobby 1:45 Well& by Durst Cafe 2:22 Car G10 Going Down 3:12 Car G10 Going Up 4:10 Car G10 Going Down (again)

These are the fastest elevators in North America tying with Central Park Tower at 2000 FPM! Durst security did not like us filming these for some reason despite the fact that EVERYONE has ridden and filmed these at some point. Idk why nobody has filmed this apparently. It’s publicly accessible. This is also known as elevator bank N. This could have easily been a wheelchair lift but instead they put an entire elevator here which I think is really cool! It is the only “scenic” or glass elevator in the building.

This was filmed in June 2019. My dad had a meeting in here and he let me go on an elevator ride. I meant to post this ages ago lol Apparently these were modernized with Compass 360 and new cabs a year later.

It looks like 20 is right above 6, this is most likely to get the observation floors to be 100 and higher.

floor 20 is actually the 15th floor if you count each window from the outside of the building.

@@cubsfan5734I actually work as a security guard inside this building. He did indeed stole a visitor pass from someone while reviewing security footage. He snuck into the building by pickpocketing someone else’s pass. We are banning him from the property and he is not allowed back in, and if he ever comes back, we will have him arrested by foot.

Amazing vintage winding drum elevator, DC hoist motor MG set and original controller still in service. This was built to keep on going for decades has done so indeed. Appears to be a 2nd machine in the the room, next to the one that was running, sounds a bit rough on the communicator.
