Project 2G GSX: Episode 4. Engine Refresh & Semi Long Block Assembly
In this episode, I aesthetically restore my 7-Bolt 4g63 as well as assemble it with upgraded forged internals.
Still waiting on cams, & Frontline fab oil pump. However I might just aim for OEM pump with straight cut gears as it's a possible 2 year wait..... not sure why a lot of DSM supportive companies have tremendous lead times.
00:00 How the block started
00:30 Paint Stripping
1:15 Pressure wash/rinse
2:03 Block paint prep
2:17 Block painting
2:56 Long block Assembly

มุมมอง 1832 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this episode, I tackled the rear corners of the trunk that had major rust issues! Figured since this is my first time welding, I should practice on non structural areas as well as an area(s) that will be hidden by body panels. 00:00 Rust showcase 0:31 Rear section prep/clean 1:24 Interior disassembly. Here is my new project ! first 2g DSM (4th overall DSM) In this video I will show you how I purchased it with a lil bit of an interior detail, as I basically just dug into it finding out the issues. Car was purchased for $5200, honestly wasn't worth more than $3k but that's what happens the fact you can't really take a car apart that's not under your ownership. Join me for the journey ahead of ...

in this video the 1g gets tuned on e-85 Didn't get any footage of the pre-dyno checkup over at OD Performance. But what they did was Boost leak test, re-torque the cylinder head, changed my fuel filters, sent my injectors out to get cleaned/flowed tested and other litter miscellaneous checks.

What's up guys. Here is my uncompleted engine, I have just the main essentials for now till it's time to shop around to start re-assembly. This will be an all out monster "SR" so to speak aiming for 700whp, a lot of people think it can't be done but it's been proven MANY times but I guess I'll just have to prove the doubters wrong. Stay tuned for more content Build Thread: www.sr20-forum.com/vv...
