You're right because the game was conceptualized as a platformer in the style of Prince of Persia (the old 2D game), where movement was constrained and had to be very precise, where traps and pitfalls in the environment were designed with that type of control specifically. Personally, I find the tank controls in Tomb Raider to be the best way to enjoy and experience the games, but many if not most new players probably prefer the modern ones, which feel more natural to them and which allows them to accept the games' other difficulties (long, sometimes complicated levels, no maps, no explanations of what to do or where to go, fall damage, no autosave, etc.). I think to do a ledge grab after a slide in modern controls, you can roll into the slide and hold "secondary", or hop into the slide with the weapons drawn.

I don't know why but the last time I played Tinnos the wasps didn't spawn as much as before. Maybe if you go past the hives really fast they don't come out as much?

Yeah it's pretty hard because of all the gun-wielding enemies. You need that roll tech!

@ Mostly yes, I think I switched to the old graphics once in there to get a different look on the environment.
