Mine did not work. I have an ipad pro and i reset all of my multi-key shortcuts to use ctrl+ but nothing worked for me. So it was a waste of money for me. The only shortcuts that worked were the single key shortcuts (P, E, etc).

Sounds like you want to return/resell this camera, then get the Tamron with your a6400. If that's unwieldy get a sling instead of a neck strap, which might change your opinion about carrying a larger camera.

I would keep it for another month and use it a lot. See what it’s like at that time. Then, make your decision. Is it within the return period at the store. I think getting some help to see why you are so impulsive would be good. Best of luck to you.

Try to figure out why you do this. Take me, I have saved up a good amount of money but on Christmas I asked for a D200 which is about 20 years old I believe and very cheap. I own expensive watches but find my cheaper ones more nice to wear oftentimes. It's not about the price or the specs it is about what you enjoy, can afford, and is a quality item that maximizes what you get for the money. Maybe you can take more time to think over your purchases, do more research, because if that initial want to buy something fades after some time then perhaps you did not actually want that. Other than that don't feel too bad, just enjoy your camera or resell it, maybe also look into cool lenses or filters to try and bring that artist self back instead of worrying about specs.

Honestly it might be just the change from Sony to Panasonic. I actually upgraded from a Panasonic GH5 to a Sony a6700 and I remember hating the a6700 at first because I was so used to the GH5 and I almost returned the a6700. I'm glad I didn't though and after using/practicing with the a6700 for a couple months I love it so much now. S5 is a good camera and the switch from Sony to Panasonic might be what's causing you extra pain. Give it some time and then reassess. Wish you the best :)

The S5 or the S5ii? 5 seconds of research could have told you the autofocus was unusable on the S5.

.... I would sell it. If the equipment brings you enxiety of you damaging it, imagine what will happen when you will damage it by acident. Its just not worth it. Also why didn't you go with the sony a6700 since you had the a6400? Also don't worry about finding a buyer theres always one around the corner - you just have to put it out there.

I can completely relate with you on this felt the same way because I bought my zve10 mkii even though I have a Canon R6. I bought it since it was small and compact but realized I didn't really need it..

I go through this same process all the time. Don't beat yourself up, it will only keep you feeling stuck. Constantly tell yourself that you're going to utilize what you have to make what you want, pretend as if there are no other options available. All you need is the tools you have, and your ideas As for the financial burden, I would sell one of them/ do what you can to get the credit paid off, then force yourself to learn with the one you have left. As you shoot more with either camera, you'll remember/realize the reason you enjoy it has almost nothing to do with the specific gear. I have a Lumix S1H that I bought a few years ago that I hardly use. Its a fantastic camera and I love the few images I've taken with it, but I don't use it enough and I own 2 other camera systems. Ill be selling it off so I can put that money into a lens for my other camera. I think once you find a system you like, its better to build up a collection of nice glass than to frequently change camera bodies. But I also understand for myself that I had to go through the "buying a bunch of cameras" phase to find out what system I wanted to stick with.

My only gripe with my Lumix S5 is when i use focus assist the preview looks good, but once i have taken a picture and i zoom in, the image looks low definition, only once i have imported them to my pc the image looks really good. Also hello from Greenland🇬🇱

Upgrading from the 20-60 was essential. That bad zoom dial was terrible for me.
