Self-character-improvement rooted in Biblical and stoic principles.
Helping you grow by teaching lessons I've learned from movies, stories, quotes, verses, and even my own life.
A good person does what's necessary.
The goal is not simply to be "kind" or "nice". For even the devil is very kind - making you feel great, by telling you exactly what you want to hear. Doing good then consists of treating people well (yes), but also being adamant about what is right (even in the face of everything and everyone that may inflict hell on you on account of your adamacy and determination).
So then what is "right"? - To treat others the way you want to be treated. And to love God and love your neighbor.
True love is sacrificial AND truthful.
Jesus Himself was gracious, but not tolerant.

Phineas And Ferb Movie Raises Important Question You Must Ask Yourself!
มุมมอง 9569 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Today's topic is about what to do when it seems that you have yet to reap what you've sown - When you do good, and the immediate outcome is not desirable. To be clear: This lesson is not to say that "anytime you do good, it will only lead to backlash and an undesirable outcome". - For that is certainly not true. Rather: Sometimes when you do good, you are hated for it. Instead of receiving than...
SpongeBob Episode Raises Important Question You Must Ask Yourself! ("Greasy Buffoons")
มุมมอง 2.2K16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
For starters: I don't know why I said "a 'pile' of grease" rather than "a 'puddle' of grease" . So let's just ignore that. That said: Today's video deals with the topic of your character, and the pressure you may sometimes feel to sacrifice it for the sake of "getting ahead" (in some way). Main Lesson From Today's Video: Never Sacrifice Your Character For Sake Of "Winning" Or "Getting Ahead". F...
SpongeBob Episode "Abrasive Side" Raises Important Question You Must Ask Yourself!
มุมมอง 13Kวันที่ผ่านมา
Today's discussion is a bit more convoluted (and very important). But I (nonetheless) hope to make myself clear in this message I wish to portray. Main Lesson From Today's Video: Don't Be A Pushover, But Don't Be A Bully Either. Be Strong, But Not Rude. And Be Kind, But Not Weak. An analogy that comes to mind is that of a bowling lane. There's an option to put up the gutter guards, so that (if ...

Thanksgiving Slasher Raises Crucial Issue To Learn From! (Life Lesson from "Thanksgiving")

DISCLAIMER: I watched this movie, not remembering how dark it was. But, remembering as little as I did, I actually skipped most of the "death scenes". (So yes, I'm the guy who watched a slasher movie and then skipped the "slasher" scenes... XD). Anyway - I only was reminded of truly how dark the film was as I was watching it. So to reiterate: I watched the movie for the story and entertainment ...

SpongeBob Episode "Squid-Ville" Raises Important Question You Must Ask Yourself!
มุมมอง 1.2K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
Today we discuss the important question I pondered as I watched this classic SpongeBob episode "Squidville": Would I enjoy my own company? (Would you enjoy yours?) The answer should be yes. But either way, the issue requires us to check ourselves. And that's a good thing. Main Lesson From Today's Video: Develop Your Character To The Extent That Even You Would Enjoy Your Company. How To Get The Most Out Of A Mistake
