E46 Power Steering Fluid Top Up (How To)
มุมมอง 7K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the first video of self service on my E46 320i. As a car fanatic, I decided that I needed to have some entry into the car TH-cam space and thought I would start of easy with a simple power steering fluid top up. I have no prior experience to working on cars and always wanted to hence the type of video. Of course, knowing how to do this is very rudimentary, however I needed to learn it m...

You don’t know how to drive a proper sportscar. Stupid review!
Great video
Thanks mate!
what year?
I’m actually not sure, but it does rev to 7.5k rpm, so I’m guessing between 2019 and 2022
nice video, it looks so slow tho 😭
It’s about 180hp worth of quick. Needs to always be above 4k rpm to feel some acceleration.
mans going somewhere one of my proper dream cars didnt expect such a composed review from such a new channel
One of the first comments I get on this channel, and it’s going to be the most meaningful one for a long time. Thanks mate :)
Thank you, great video. Straight to the point and very helpful
Ac on or off?
On. But turned it off periodically when car was cool enough.
Interesting vid :-) Your ideas worked out quite well. Your average consumption is around 7,1l pr. 100km. I would have turned off the aircon, driven 120 km/t on average. Put 2,4 bars in the tyres - yes is would be a bit hard, but roll more smoothly. Your BMW has a fair amount of torque, 210 nm's so I would have changed gear as early as possible, without the car starting to 'stall' - avoiding breaking as much as possible, and sometime you can lift the foot just a few millimeters on the pedal, and the revs fall just a bit. Actually I think you could have gotten it to around 6ish liter pr. 100 km if you did all you could... and in a 6 cylinder petrol car... thats amazing. But still - impressive - and a good vid. Thumbs up :-)
Thanks mate, I really appreciate the comment along with the in depth thoughts and analysis! With regards to changing gear at really low rpm, the slightest accelerations seem to really lug the engine and I see the efficiency gauge shoot really quickly upto 18 L / 100 km. I don’t know if this is a 1:1 measurement of fuel- air ratio or it also takes into account speed and distance travelled. Must look into this. In the case that it is directly connected to whether the engine begins to run rich, then it might not be that efficient. I think mid 6s is certainly doable albeit a challenge, low 6s would need perhaps a lower average speed and probably a max speed of 110 km/h or so. Thanks for the insightful comment and engaging in the discussion!
Ummm wow.
nice
It is not just the best selling electric model , it is simply the best selling car (electric or non-electric)..
I did read that but that sounded almost a little crazy to me considering the usual favourites: Corolla/Camry
