Damn. They are both great players in their own rights, but this is slightly out of Cory's depth here. Matteo is an absolute beast at that classic bebop influenced jazz improv with modern notes, while Cory is a funk machine with soulful Bb King/Eric Clapton phrasing at the forefront of his solo chops. Still no doubt an amazing performance

Holy moly, what playing! Their phrasing (not just the son’s) complement each other so perfectly. I got to spend a little time with my then-4-year-old son on “bitars,” as he would call them back in the day. He has my musical ear and my wife’s agility, and as a result, has far surpassed both of us in his abilities. He now works in construction. I hope he picks up the guitar and drums again. I miss hearing him play. (He was our church’s main drummer starting at age 11, for crying out loud!)

Ça joue très bien, ça joue très vite mais quel manque de feeling et de chaleur et joue bien à ce jeu. Mais pour moi ça me manque vraiment de chaleur de profondeur. C’est bien beau de jouer comme une mitraillette mais cela ne sert à rien si il n’y a pas d’âme verrière, c’est froid par moment. Pourtant très bien joué mais je trouve ça froid par moment vraiment.✌️🎸✌️👋 N’oublie pas. La musique est faite aussi de silence, même dans un chorus, il n’y a pas de silence. Les notes ne sont pas mises en valeur enfin chacun son style. Bravo quand même.👍😉

Mein Gott, ist der Fogerty peinlich. Die Anbiederei an die jüngeren Bandmitglieder. Bei CCR war er noch super, dann kam offenbar das Größenwahn Syndrom, dann der absolute Abgang. Wie kann man als gefeierter Musiker sich so verlieren. Friede sei mit ihm. War in den 70-er Jahren für mich die absolute Wahnsinnsband. Die Grössten.
