thats pretty fast did you use potassium nitrate or maybe some stronger oxidiser like a chlorate or perchlorate? if you used nitrate could you give me some advice? mine was never so fast
The problem in 90% of cases is the binding of the ingredients. You cannot make good black powder without a ball mill unless you use the cia method. If you want reply to this comment or mail me at padurjanigor@gmail.com And i will send you some instructions

@@mkrv1817Sorry if this comment is a little old, but are you using homemade charcoal or the one you buy on truck stores? That is one of the most important things when making black powder. The best way is to use willow tree, put it in a paintcan and poke some holes through it and throw it in a fire. This will produce one of the best charcoals for black powder. The king of random has a guide on how to do it. Homemade willow or pine tree charcoal is way faster than the one you buy for your bbq.
Making this stuff is simple. The mixing with alcohol and drying the mixture with a heat lamp is what really gets the mixture burning faster than when any batch is mixed dry.
