    This is so validating to watch. Seems UK is ahead of US in addressing menopause, but hopefully this is the first step. I’m taking a career break partly due to perimenopause related symptoms, partly due to the dysfunctional workplace I was in. Needed to put my healthy first before career - symptoms improved by 50% after leaving the chaotic work environment. I don’t know what my next step would be, but my body is thanking me for taking a break. Just wanted to share where I’m at in dealing with this part of life transition.

    I was on 100mg prescribed for pain Fentanyl for 25 years that stopped working. It took me a year of absolute day and night hell to get off it so I can relate to users hooked on this type of stuff. You just have to focus on 😢😢one minute at a time and be determined never to give up just keep getting through the impossible but it’s worth it in the end thing improve very slowly after three months. I still have all the muscle pain to live with but the sweats and skin crawls have stopped I have learnt to use rest and avoid any pain triggers like standing too long, it’s far better than any addiction and suffering withdrawals. Good luck to any fellow sufferers.
