    Will going to a chiropractor help with this?

      @@romanempire9818 Unfortunately I have not seen any scientific data to show chiropractic would help. The structure has modified the soft tissue (muscles and attachments). The muscles need to be lengthen, unknotted, and strengthened correctively in order to create a stabilizing and modifying affect onto the structure. Surgery to the structure has been the only thing I have seen to make any shift to the structure. But the soft tissue still needs to be lengthened, unknotted, and strengthened correctively and it has become distorted through the process. Does that make sense? I have talked about this in some of my videos before.

    Hello Miss Ashley I found your channel recently, And have Been watching many of your channels videos Which I've found very enjoyable and also relevant even after several years Passage. The ways in which youtube Rewards Inane and indolent content, While its algorithms relegate excellent well made informative channels such as yours to the obscure boundaries of the platform. If there was any fairness Your channel should rightfully have hundreds of thousands of subscribers and views but instead it celebrates Mediocrity; Such as channels where People literally watch another person playing a video game, not even playing themselves!! or watching an Intensely irritating person "reacting"! to watching something !?..It boggles my mind.I Apologize for this extremely lengthy comment. My intention was just to Mention that while researching a GEARARI Posture corrector That was gifted to my wife with many other items and that I I honestly had no idea what the heck it was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Obviously I've learned it's intended purpose since. I was pleased it's Marketed In a more pragmatic, Rather than gimmicky way, Lol. No promises of curing Spinal cord injuries or improving one's Libido. Unfortunately it is their 2.0 Version that you had discussed in an earlier video. Thank you kindly for creating so many excellent videos and quality content And thank you for your consideration and patience if you actually were able to read my Pedantic rant ☝( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°).🤏

      Hello! Thank you for watching and I am so sorry hear you are hurting so much. First…when we have an injury, we follow the RICE acronym. Rest/Ice/Compression/Elevation. I have a Playlist called Counterpain Strategies. Please check that out BEFORE you consider anything else. Any exercise or stretches need to come AFTER you have been evaluated by your physician and then are in PT(physical therapy) I am certified in POST rehab corrective exercise, so I would not recommend any actual exercise until after evaluation and PT have taken place. With that said and IF you can practice the 3-Lock Mountain, (see that video from my two Playlist Start Here: Posture Basics and 3-Lock Mountain) you can safely practice this. Without assessing you myself and not knowing your past health history, I definitely encourage Rest, Ice, correct Compression, and Elevation to take any inflammation down, provide proper alignment, provide relief from pressure or impingement, and release of muscular tension. I do have a Topicals video about the topical I recommend for injuries, chronic pain, and generalized sprain/strain. I pray you get the proper assessment, treatment, and rehab needed to get yourself back to your normal functioning levels. Keep me posted on your recovery please and let me know if and when you would like a posture assessment with me via Zoom and we can set something up to further your recovery and corrective function❤️

    I looove this. Thank you! I have the backjoy and the only difference for my current issues is that it alleviates me sitting on the tailbone or something back there that us easily irritated. However, with the tennis ball it is certainly putting less pressure on that area that if I didn't have it there and it for posture correction. With the back joy i stopped using it because I was afraid it might be making my hip muscles weak since it offers a lot of support. However, might have been using it wrong, because now I sit in a way that engages my core and upper thigh muscles for balance. It's also nice for chairs that don't have a back or if I'm sitting on the floor. I will certainly keep this tennis ball trick in my arsenal. Easy to carry and more discreet. This is better than a lumbar pill if you ask me.

    • @theposturespecialist3LM
      @theposturespecialist3LM 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree and I’m glad that the video and tennis ball have been helpful. The BackJoy will help you to tune into what you can be engaging for correct posture so when you don’t have it, you can remember what you need to be activating. The tennis ball prevents you from slumping and encourages the activation of the 3-Lock Mountain without having to use anything else for proper muscle engagement. Of course you use whatever you need to though to best encourage corrective posture and you slowly build up muscles and muscle memory so you don’t need to use anything.😊 Happy posturing and let me know if you have any questions or need an assessment!

      Thank you. I have definitely put it out there to work with others to come up with a better corrector, but no one has come forward to partner up. Scoliosis, I have some as well, though not curable, is best managed by strengthening the muscles in the correct posture so the structure can optimally follow suit. I wish we could fix scoliosis, but it is more about ongoing maintenance and corrections than trying to completely fix it. At least right now. If you do need an assessment or one on one with, please let me know. I see clients remotely via Zoom. Hang in there and stay focused on your wellness goals😊

    Hi, I hope you are well. I am not able to do this exercise due to lower back pain because I have anterior pelvic tilt along with collapsed diaphragm. Could you please help me in correcting posture.

      Understood. I would try and start with an assessment. Until then work on the Pelvic Lock, which I have a separate video on, and your feet positioning. Your feet to pelvis should have heel/glute connection without arching the low back or pressing your hips forward. Get the five points of the feet down and check out your shoes with the video I did in my foot series. Super interesting. See yourself as a bit of a research project and make it interesting. It is fascinating to study and rewarding to correct. Message me via email if you want an assessment. Happy Posturing!!

    I can't hear what she is saying because of the stupid music. What does she pull up at 2:32?

      The Pelvic Lock is detailed in this video. Each Lock actually has its own separate video detailing each step as well. Let me know if this is helpful. Happy posturing! th-cam.com/video/G4ushDoTqWk/w-d-xo.html

    Sadly the doc I tried working with thought this was caused by going off anxiety meds and recommeded I see an addiction specialist. I seriously have no idea what to do now that my head is stuck to my chest

      @@theposturespecialist3LM it is was the visualization of zipping up from the pelvic floor. It helped me with all of the other exercises.

    Flared the ribs and coughed like I was dummy. 😂 In other news, I really appreciate the sucking in the bellybutton trick. That’s my needs improvement area.

    Fantastic. I'm thinking, feeling my stomach problem is due to posture. Thank you for sharing. This is something the Drs could suggest but they seem to know little but to push pills and then more. Will work on this.

    How many times a day do you recommend doing this exercise? Also what is the ideal hold time and reps? Thanks

    • @theposturespecialist3LM
      @theposturespecialist3LM ปีที่แล้ว

      Initially I encourage clients and students to practice this as many times throughout the day that you can. Eventually this becomes a 24/7 integration because your core muscles will develop enough to hold this posture for an extended time without fatiguing. Does that make sense? To start, Hold for 10 seconds and release. Repeat 3-5 times and do that multiple times throughout the day until it becomes your new norm😊 Happy Posturing!!
