Dr. I. Sho Pepper; A complete Theatre Art Practitioner
This Documentary film is about the life and times of Olusola Isola Ogunsola, aka Dr I. Sho Pepper. He excelled in every aspect of the Theatre Arts whilst maintaining a good name amongst his family, friends and colleagues and everyone who came into contact with him has something good to say about this great man.
Despite his gifts and many talents, Isola was a very humble and friendly man whose exemplary character must not be forgotten and there is no doubt that his good nature will help the coming generations.
The interviews were conducted at different times and different locations but the common denomination here is that Isola was a legend, one whose memories are blessed and whose legacy should be preserved. The Isola Ogunsola foundation has proposed to build an Art Theatre with a mini museum in his name at Olokuta village, near Ibadan. Oyo State, on a piece of land that Dr. I. Sho Pepper bought by himself in 1986 before his death on the 28th of December 1992. This film was written and directed by his second daughter, Bola Akande (Nee Ogunsola)

Most pple of this nature don't live longer. He was Ade to come made his impact and briefly return to his creator. We loved him but his God loved him most.
Pls how can I get most of his music tracks
I too remember this legend man then when we are small we enjoy his play.
I can never forget when the Ogunde Film Village, Ososa, brought all these stars down for the beautiful and philosophical Ogunde films- Aiye, Jayesimi and others. It was very lively every time I sat with Dr. I-Sho Pepper in Karonwi House in Oke-Ala, Ososa. Never a dull moment in his company and others- Aluwe, Bello, Afolayan. Thank you all and please come back to Ososa, we are still the same- very hospitable and the spaces are all available.
I can list the titles of some his movies that I watched growing up, Mojere, Koriko Panty, Efunsetan, iyawo alalubosa, aje ni iya mi, ija orogun and iya alakara. Not only are they entertaining but have so much societal lessons taught in them. May his soul continue to RIP🙏🙏
I think he was the one that produced a firm called jomi joke in the 90s
He would have been 82 years if he is still alive. May God continue to rest his soul.
Wow thanks 😊 for this
Good one Bola
I'M HAPPY TO HAVE WITNESS HIS WORK & GLAD TO BE OLD ENOUGH TO GRASP HIS ARTISTY DURING HIS TIME. HE WAS AN INSTITUTION BY HIMSELF!!! REST ON OMO OGUNSOLA🤲

Yoruba intellectual must build Yoruba people by making sure Yoruba people history is taught in primary, secondary, and tertiary in Yoruba land.
I can't wait to view it. We watched his life drama when we were in high school . He was indeed a full packaged theater practitioner. May God rest his soul
I Show was good at his trade. I loved and still love him. He was my best actor/artiste during childhood when we watched him not minding sitting on the floor or peeping through the window of some neighbours' parlours.
Oku nsunkun oku...
Welldone Mr taiwo hazzan ogogo
Rip paix à ton ame
Ogogo on this one
Wow!! I'm just seeing this. May all the departed souls rest in peace.
Wow! Can't just fathom it why good people leave us so soon. They are the real face of Yoruba heritage. What we have today is just amulu mala that corrupts our culture and disparages our heritage. Sleep well the real custodians of our tradition
To my surprise none of his plays are released for the public. I pray God Almighty to repose his soul and preserve his sweet memory forever. He is sorely missed.
Iyawo Alalubosa is on TH-cam.

I can't imagine what Nollywood would have been if this great man, and the other greats, did not depart so early. May his soul continue to rest perfectly in the Lord.
Amen! Thanks a lot. Pls, share the video with others.
Immorality wouldn't have taken so much deep toll on the movie industry if all these wonderful late veterans didn't depart early 😭
Powerful documentary of a legend
