For anyone confused by the Substitoad/Torrential situation in Game 2, there was a miscommunication. I didn't realize Ali was calling priority to tribute. Once we realized that, we reversed the gamestate back to the point the substitoad was summoned and proceeded from there.

Nice duels, but you can’t activate Torrential Tribute when Drill Warrior special summons itself and adds a monster back to the hand. TT misses the summon window due to the last thing happening being the card added to the hand, so it can’t be activated.

That killing blow with the Counters at the end was pretty sick!
