I confirmed wat you said about Intergalactic Bound from a video on GGodsStudios. She said " Newark" there, thats amazing. Thanks for sharing your story. I went alone and made a point to talk to other people who looked like they came alone. After the show there were lots of people who lingered for two hours after the show. Eventually I approached a group of con goers and asked to hang with them. Thy welcomed me and that totally made my night. That was awkward but worth it. Even though you had a bad time cosplaying in public previously I think you would have really enjoyed staying in cosplay and being with con goers after the show. You can do it next time!

The DC crowd was amazing! Even with the controversy, the led screen, and the light stick shortage I knew being in that crowd, surrounded by vocaloid fans for the first time in my life was the experience I was there for. Truly one of the best concerts I've ever been to! We came up from Richmond and Fredericksburg, arrived right around 4, so we stood in line for 2.5 hours. I know some people were there all day, but we didn't have the energy for that and still managed to be only one row back in the line. We got GA tickets for about $160 apiece, and inside the venue, squeezed our way to a decently close, dead-center spot on the floor. I truly have so few complaints. I wish the screen was on a little higher of a platform so us short people could see better. I hope they do another US tour with the holograms next time--considering all the backlash they got. And next time I'll jump on the lightsticks ahead of time. I smuggled in 8 emergency glow sticks, didn't actually have to hide them through security which was nice, and we spread them to our immediate neighbors to make sure everyone could vibe with lightsticks. Someone even gave me a sticker of a mikuexpo lightstick which I put on my glowstick, which was a little ghetto but I'll keep that forever <3

I'm glad I don't sound crazy when I say it was life changing because I haven't been the same since. You're so lucky to be able to cosplay during Miku Expo and you're so cool for doing so, I hope I can get the chance to do so myself one day. I also feel the same with Intergalactic Bound being so simple and kind of generic, but the meaning of the lyrics and the chorus still ends up making me tear up from the connection I felt to every Miku fan across the USA and making me feel like anything is possible because we have Hatsune Miku on our side forever. Her dress was also so pretty, my goodness.

They did water for us at Dallas too! I think it’s a miku expo thing and not a venue thing.

The DC show was incredible! I used to be a vocaloid fan around 2016 and this brought out the fan in me once again, praying miku expo comes to DC again

I went to the Denver one a couple of weeks ago. I don’t really go to concerts that much but this one was one of the best ones I’ve seen, especially because I waited so many years to see a live Vocaloid concert and I finally got to go to one. And I went with my dad who knew nothing about Vocaloid or Hatsune Miku but he was super into it when the show went on, he even said that he’d like to see another one in the future which is awesome.

I was in GA at Miku Expo yesterday in DC. I've been a vocaloid fan for many years and drove across several states to see it with high expectations being that it was my first vocaloid concert. The dark rectangle of the screen was definitely a distraction. It made the vocaloids look trapped and smaller than I expected. I can't compare it to a glass projection because I haven't seen it myself, but the rectangle needs to go. Everything else was great though! Entry was really fast and organized, and no pee on the floor that I noticed.
