And maybe he is ignorant that he is messing up your pattern, but it's entitlement on your part to assume he should know better. Motor boaters definitely should be more aware tho, they are more dangerous to kayakers and they need to look out

Do you mind me asking, is this far up the river? I’m not trying to ask for your fishing spot haha but I’m curious because I’m going camping with a buddy in a new spot in Arcadia soon and it’s right smack dab in the middle of Peace river so I’m just trying to find out what kinda of fishing to expect. Wasn’t sure if I should expect a good amount of snook and tarpon that far up or not, or if I should just bring my ultralight for bass and brim. If you don’t want to answer I understand but I figured I should ask. Thanks

If you have a breech through the glass you got to get it repaired right away. All that’s happening is water transfer through the foam core which is basically styrofoam. It will keep getting heavier as surface temperature to core temperature variants will keeping pulling water in. I was given a Rackem that got completely waterlogged with an extra 50lbs of weight through the cells of the foam. I’ve pulled the glass off in a few areas and it’s been drying out for a year now. I still have a while to go. Learn basic ding repair and take care of breaches right away. It only takes a small hole or crack. If you can see it fizzes air out of the damaged area or you can pull air out with your mouth over the crack/ ding, it needs taken care of. Board repair is fairly simple. There’s tons of good video that will get you good in no time. I’ve owned another Rackem with over 25 dings. All repaired within a few Days of occurring.

Right when I heard the intro I knew there wouldn’t be a few comments regarding Wild and native trout haha. Wild trout can be born in a river or in this case stream but there lineage comes from planted fish, so no matter how far down you go it will remain wild. A native fish occurs naturally, before fish planting was a thing 👊

Weedon island area? My fav for sight casting is a white glow doa jerk shad. 4 inch in winter and 5 inch in summer. Zman jerks if needlefish are a problem. Also enjoyed your video of creek behind cypress park a while back. Tight lines!
