Thanks for your comment. Did the video a year ago, and have now seen it through several times to try and understand what it is that bothers you. Each section/ function is explained by text, followed up by small clips, and close-ups regarding that specific section. I'm a bit puzzled how that can be understood as "out of context". But of course, the red line I thought through when I filmed, and edited the video was quite obvious for my self at that moment. Sorry that you don't have that experience as well, because I put a lot of effort to be as "explaining" as possible. But thanks anyway 😉

Thanks :-) well from 3:36 you can see the drivetrain. The 4WD is permanent, and the differential in the middle of the tractor is compensating for the speed difference between front and back. The lock is for enabling the PTO shaft behind, that runs when the tractor drives. im considering a motor for the PTO, independently from the drive train. IRL the Front wheels are driven directly from the Gearbox, with a gearing around 10% faster than the rear wheels, to get a constant grip. Thats why its not so good to drive with the 4WD on roads. but for this purpose, its better to have the differential like you also have. I hope this answers your question?

@@farmerclausenagritechnic20 oh fuck, such things happens when one is not concentrated enough because of having an online lesson meanwhile... I didn't noticed the differential with its lock because I'm so familiar to it that I thought it's missing lol 😂😣 I didn't get at all what is actually powered: The differential or the front wheels? Because my concept is powering the differential's housing.

@@jbw_2018 both front and rear is powered from the diff, that is powered by a XL motor, that is placed above in the center of the tractor, and also powers the 6 cylinder fake engine. When "locking", the center diff, the PTO is enabled.

@@farmerclausenagritechnic20 OK, now I got it! I'll publish a video about my LEGO RC MB trac 1800 intercooler on my channel soon, it has AWD but needs no differential because it has 4 equal sized wheels.

I found the tires on ebay, they are called 2.2 RC Badland Bigfoot monster truck tires. Comes both with or without rims. I use Lego Power Puller rims on this model, but the 56 mm rims can also be used with two rubber gaskets mounted on each side of the rim. 😉

Ich weiss es nicht genau, aber nur der Electronic, ohne ipad ist rund 1000 €. So mein bester Vermutung ist 3000 €. Und das ist nur teile, kein arbeitslohn. 😉

Det er for at fordele maskinens tryk på jorden på så stort et areal som muligt, så man undgår dybe spor, som hvis de kørte lige bagved hinanden. Kørte de ikke i det man også kalder for "dogwalk", ville arealet mellem hjulene ikke blive trykket. En Grimme Maxtron på bælter, trykker også i hele maskinens bredde, da dens styrehjul bagtil passer mellem bælterne. Håber mit svar gav mening. Hilsen Bondemand Clausen 😊
