Amalfi Coast! Day trip from Rome down the Amalfi Coast stopping in Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi
We had an extra day in Rome with nothing planned so Rachelle decided that she wanted to do a day trip from Rome down the Amalfi Coast for her birthday. We first stopped in Sorrento to take pictures, then made our way down to Positano to walk around, shop and eat lunch, then headed over to Amalfi to go swimming. It was a long 16hr day for us! We hired an 8 passenger van and our driver took us everywhere we wanted to go.

Half day in Catania, Sicily, Italy by cruise ship onboard NCL Getaway with kids and grandparents. We spent about 5 hours just exploring the port city of Catania by foot. We didn't spend any money on excursions or tours or transport. Only spent money on the local food in Italy.

Our cruise ship stop in Istanbul, Turkey on July 14, 2023. We arrived at 6:00am and left at 2:00pm. We hired a private 12 passenger van and it fit 2 parents, 2 kids and 4 grandparents very comfortably. Since many places don’t open until 9:00am we took photos outside of the Hagia Sophia and Mosques. What private car did you use? We're a group of 21 (5 families). Did he pick you up at the livorno cruise port? We're planning of going to Pisa and Florence then back to Port. Do you have the contact person and number please? Maraming Salamat.
i usually don’t like people playing with my groceries, but the ice cream handler/scooper had mad skills…too funny y’all look great, dan!!
Please advise how much did pay for your van and driver. Also, any entry fees to see around the leaning Pisa tower without going up inside and on top.

I came across your channel about a few days ago during a huge family cruise to Greece, Turkey and Italy with the grandparents. Now London and Ireland. You do realize that you’re giving the best geographic class and international food tasting to your 2 beautiful kids. Most kids don’t eat their veggies but someone is liking fried Calamari! Hi Josie! Yes we just toured around Rome ourselves. We didn’t book any excursions through NCL. However, we did prebook the Colosseum tour in advance through Viator.com

Your vid on Santorini was the best I have seen. What time did you get on line for the cable car to the ship. I’m going there in September of 2024.
Thank you so much Philip! Our ship was scheduled to depart at 9:30pm and we fell in line just before 8:00pm. The line took about an hour and then probably another 20 minutes from the bottom of the cable car in Fira to the ship. But I’m thinking in September the line will be a little better than when we went in July. Have a great trip!

We booked right at the port when we got there. There’s a lot of vendors right outside Galata port.

@@meihoang6044 we didn’t buy any tickets. All the places we went inside were all free entrances. The only thing we paid for was the van
Been 3 times on a cruise visiting in August again but staying on ship as 4 ships there in total and cant be bothered with the Queues at cable car. Will have a lovely relaxing day on the ship😊

Did the tour guide suggested to you all where to go in Florence? Or did you all preplan where you all wanted to go?
We told the driver that we wanted to go see Pisa and Florence and he dropped us off and picked us up. When he dropped us off in the city center of Florence we just walked around and found our own places to eat and shop. Then afterwards the driver had a couple nice surprises and brought us to the view point and asked if we had extra time to drive through Tuscany on the way back to our ship

My girlfriend and I went to Santorini last week. It was an amazing place to visit and perfect time, as it wasn't hot and there wasn't huge crows like in summer time. We stayed at the Blue art cave airbnb, simply beautiful! One day we will come back.

Hi! The pick up in Fira is at the bottom, of Fira where the cruise ship tenders drop you off there’s a little shop at the bottom there where you can buy tickets. It drops you off at the bottom of Oia and then you have to hike up a little bit where you can catch a free shuttle bus into the center of Oia. Have a great trip!

Hey, thank you so much for the video. We’re gonna be going in June and seems like you had a great time and thank you so much for posting this. I just have a couple questions when you got off the cruise ship you said you took a shuttle to the center city is that something that’s just included from the cruise or do you have to purchase that separately? And also you said you found them in the tourism center was it easy to find? Did you have it preplanned or was it something you just winged and it wouldn’t be too hard to wing yourself with a family of seven like you did? Seems quite overwhelming and then I look at your video and I just feel so much better about the upcoming trip so thank you for what you’re doing.

It was very hot 🥵 and humid when we went in July. I would say average of around 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit

In morning what time did first tender leave and what time did your tender leave? How long did you spend in oia? Did your water taxi tix from old port to oia include the bus to fira or did you have to catch a city bus to Fira?

I was there on March 22, 2022 on a layover connecting to Honolulu. I got to see the Space Needle. I’m going back next spring break
