@lupooutdoors I'm not saying the saddle isn't any good, I'm saying it weight is a relative gripe, most bog owners comment on. I am maintaining my original statement, an Arca swiss rail is the most common upgrade, to the deathgrip. But I don't get why, having upgraded the system with an Arca you would remount that great lump of a saddle,onto an Arca. I walk miles over fields carrying a bog carbon with gun and a scope, yeah weight is an issue. Also I don't leave my quarry in the field it also weighs something. If you're in the target shooting community maybe it isn't something you think about. As for precision, accuracy shooters, isn't that the standard we all strive to achieve. Or was there sarcasm. ? Tell me why you need a hog saddle attached to the Arca, again Because honestly unless you're American, I just don't get it. I'm 62 and have been striving for precision since I picked up a gun at 11 years of age. I spend hours on hours to improve my accuracy/skill set, I go out to shoot professionally, not for a work out.

I would tend to believe you, but this was the mag that came with the rifle and it was brand new. So, the question is really, is this a QC problem? Bergara is know for high quality products, but this seems to be a common issue with this rifle.

Sure, you could go out and spend $200 on a brand-new tripod-but why would you, especially if you already own a perfectly good one? With this simple conversion, you can easily upgrade your existing tripod to mount Arca-compatible accessories, retain the original clamp, and attach anything else that uses a standard camera mount. It's a versatile solution that saves you money while maximizing functionality. Of course, if you're buying a tripod for the very first time, investing in the right one makes sense. @lupooutdoors because I could mount a Camera/Spotting scope and a rifle at the same time now. It's just overpriced considering you can buy it with a tripod for pretty much the same price.

@@lupooutdoors please re read mine. I already own one. If I got the adapter I'd still have one, but I'd have bought it twice. I'd rather get a Tripod with the attachment already on it. Then I'll have two, instead of buying 1 twice...

@ why would two make any sense at all? Bog’s are not 200. So, in a nutshell feel free to buy a cheap tripod with an Arca Rail and good luck. I’ll stick with the Bog Death Grip. I do very much appreciate your opinion and feedback!

To do this right, it requires more than just a ball mount and Arca plate. Rigging it with the 223 and 9mm will prob work for a bit of time, but I would not trust it for heavier rifles and prolong use. Thanks so much for watching!

When turkey hunting, you can call to hens by mimicking their vocalizations. Here are some tips for calling to hens: Start soft: Begin with a short series of soft *yelps. Match the hen's volume: If the hen gets loud, you can get loud too. Mimic her calls: If the hen responds with clucks or yelps, you can try mimicking her calls. Add movement: Hens are often in groups and move as they call, so you can try adding movement with sound to make your calls more convincing. Don't give up: If the hen is fired up, don't quit. The *yelp is a two-note call that's considered the main building block of turkey calling. It starts with a high-pitched "kee" sound and ends with a lower-pitched "yuk" sound. I hope this helped!
