Sucks that the animation for this episode suffered so much. The animator went overboard with the Looney Tunes style. The final product looked like something out of Tom and Jerry.

This was my introduction to manga and anime, I was on a school field trip to a bookstore where some author was there. It was boring so I snuck off and the dragon ball manga caught my eye, so everyday after school I'd go to the bookstore get a drink and read one Volume before heading home. Its probably nostalgia but no other series really gives off this sense of adventure for me. Anyway I'm looking forward to your reaction to the og dragon ball 🥤🍿 👀

Goku actually was giving up till the moon appeared, crazy! Also like another comment said, Master Roshi Kamehameha not even full power blew up a mountain so this got me when i was a kid in the 90¨s

Unfortunately, as a huge Sakura fan myself, Kishi really dropped the ball with Sakura's character this arc in particular. It's a shame.
