Hey Creator Spotlight, we serve the labor movement and workers with our company, UnionBase. We've been looking at your content to figure out how to do what we do better. We have 20k email subscribers on our Beehiiv but we've only recently started taking social media serious. We started as a social media platform and now we've pivoted. We're working in an industry that is typically viewed as old school but has lots of cool things about it. It's rough out here but resources like yours are helping us. Thanks for the content you create.

That is a good interview, very useful, I like Caitlin idea about middle class lifestyle it's refreshing in this world of get rich quick schemes, her idea there is similar to "calm company" concept by Justin the co founder of transistor fm. Thank you Francis too you are great interviewer I read a lot of your newsletter issues it's a live high practical and realistic handbook for the next generation of creators out there. I know this has been pointed out before in another episode, but the background music really does get in the way of the conversation. It makes it harder to focus on what is being said. Maybe lower the background music volume so it doesn’t compete with the vocal audio?

Fun fact - Bird song is several decibels louder in cities compared to the country side due to having to literally shout over the sound of traffic. I figure its the same thing, but for attention. You need to start talking instantly or you just get swiped on to the next piece of meaningless content. Millennials still haven't adapted to the hell of tiktok and youtube shorts.

Don't even need to hear the argument. I also think ghost writing is bullshit. It allows people to think that famous people are much smarter than they are and makes writing look like something everyone can do. Its genuinely harmful to our society and to truth and merit.

Really enjoying Andrew's book. He seems very in touch with what really matters.
