Rare photos of vintage Alfa Romeo (Factories, Dealerships, Advertisements)
This is a short compilation of factory, dealership and advertisement images of Alfa Romeos up till the late 1980s. I made this as I thought it would be cool to put together all the rare images I've gathered throughout my content making on classic Alfa Romeos. Thank you for the support, and I hope you enjoyed this new type of video :)

Why the Maserati Biturbo failed!
In this video I go over the reasons why the Maserati Biturbo has developed a bad reputation, and is now one of the cheapest Maserati cars for sale on the used market, despite its initial high price point and luxury value. However, it is important to note that the biturbo is from my favourite era of Maserati, and I still believe it looks amazing and performs great.

Superiori in tutto.

Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Alfa 75 a vita......Audi 80 vasca da bagno con le ruote ....bruttissima 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁
Alfa 75 for ever!!!
@cristiancrusco9939 i gusti son gusti
Tu in quale categoria ti collochi?
Cmq vada sempre e comunque alfa romeo❤

Alfa💞💞💞💞💘💘
The video compares them as new, likely competitors in dealership pricing. The Audi performed exceptionally well, even with this engine!

I wish we had the All Alfa Romeo Alfetta's. Yes, I have a 1988 Milano, 200,000 needs some love. See my videos!
🌲 Merry Xmas italian car lovers 🇮🇹
Ugliest steering wheel ever seen
Before the 1950’ the straight 6 cyliders cars (6C) was the “smaller” Alfas. The 8C was the big ones. Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Lancia was the “supercars” before Ferrari and Lamborghini entered the scene.
I think the Giulietta was never sold in the US. You only got the Alfetta and the 75/Milano as far as I know. This model is the car that got me into Alfa Romeo. One of our neighbours had one when I was a kid
Verrry good Italish pronunciation!
Fashion isn’t interested in the evolution of designs. It’s only through the lens of time that we learn to truly appreciate and love them. Back then that Alfa 6 always looked a bit overweight compared to the 1970s Alfettas it seemed to derive from. Those 70s cars always looked as agile and light as their 2 dr GT siblings. Back then my mother drove a majestic Fiat 130 I regarded as old and slow compared to the sporty Alfettas. My father drove the stunning 2 door version of the 130, both cars in that perfect Italian navy blue and blue velour interior, that i wish they’d never sold. That coupé is one of the very best car designs of the 20th century. Superior in proportions and execution to the somewhat similar RR Camargue and evidently the inspiration for the Ferrari 412. In the 70s the 4 door 130 although excellent, was an overweight version of its 60s Fiat siblings, just like the 80s Alfa 6 and 70s Alfettas.
The feeling of underrating a car (especially one from childhood) to prioritize your interest in something widely considered superior is very common among car enthusiasts who are looking back at the past. The Fiat 130 (both the 2-door and 4-door) serves as an excellent example of this-a car that took a little longer to be fully recognized for its brilliance, often overshadowed by the flashier cars of its time. I saw a 2-door Fiat 130 in a beautiful grigio color for the first time at an Italian car event, and it instantly became one of my favorite cars there. It was so elegant and full of culture, and a type of executive/luxury car that we don't see from Fiat anymore. I’d love to make a video on the 130 someday!
@ Please do! That design deserves recognition. It inspired many. I’d even dare say that Aston Martin took a good look and managed to execute those sharp creases, stunning C pillar, flat and wide stance, low belt line and generally modern aesthetic quite well in the galactic 1970s Lagonda. The bug eyed, grill toothed and squinty tailed Rolls Royce Camargue didn’t mange quite as well, while Lincoln baroqued it out in its early 80s Mark series.
It would be more of a competitor to the E28 5-series, the E23 7-series was a class higher.
That's true: Alfa 6 was what you call an "E" segment car today, like Mercedes "E" Class, BMW 5 or Audi A6.
Great video. Great car though never have a chance to drive one. Alfa Romeos are always very special despite having driven BMW E21, E23, E28, E30 and Mercedes W123, W202, W212. I used to have an Alfasud 1.5 and Guiletta (1980) 1.8.
According to Babvvo and Tebbvo laws sadly soon all gas cars will be illegal in EU and USA!!!!
Which is great news for children and the majority of people who don’t have a car but have to breathe all the pollution.
This only applies to brand new vehicles, flash bulb...
All gas cars?!
In the UK the early cars had six little single choke carbs .I worked at an Alfa Romeo garage, the first Six stood in the showroom for a year. It was still there when I left.
Yes I remember reading that - it must have been unique in having so many carbs. Balancing two to ensure correct and efficient running was difficult, how the hell six were ever balanced.......I don't think they ever were! A crazy design.
I bet it sounds wonderful with six carburetors!
It was even more expensive than a Jaguar XJ6
Gordon Murray owns and drives one He actually rated it in the top 3 of his collection. So I think it handles just ok 😅
The Montreal's handling was never considered bad, but Alfa Romeo was synonymous with exceptional handling during that era. Produced alongside models like the 1750 GT and Alfetta-both renowned for their superior handling-it’s understandable why the Montreal's handling felt slightly underwhelming by comparison.
@@ItalianAutomotiveLove True, the 1750 GT is renowned for its superior handling. But if you put a heavier 2.6 litre V8 in the same chassis - which they did - and add 300 kilos, it just can't match the same level.
Well done for keeping it in a beautiful original condition.
Beautiful car that!
What a wonderful car
So beautiful!
Awesome, thanks for sharing.
Absolutely gorgeous, really well maintained for a vintage, ❤
Love it ❤
wow! all of these supercars are beautiful🎉
