Wired Ring Spotlight Camera Issue
I have had my spotlight camera installed for three weeks. After our first rain event, it developed a black line down the video frame. After a day of steady drizzle on Monday water infiltrated the camera and on Tuesday the lens fogged up. Again, Ring shipped a replacement without question. I am either unlucky or is there an issue with the build quality....

A strange issue I had with my Doorbell Pro after a month of use. Ring was awesome and sent a replacement without question. I had not seen this issue mentioned anywhere so I thought I'd post it.

I have the same problem only with night vision, on the Ring spotlight wireless camera, with no rain, it might be the humidity, I’m returning it after 2 days of using it.
What’s the issue my friend? Is it the fogg? I’m having the same problem.
Yep, I originally had a version that had a plastic lip running around the top edge of the camera. The rubber on the top of the camera did not reach the edge. The replacement Ring sent to me has no lip, the rubber on the top of the camera runs all the way to the edge. Water has not entered the new unit after a couple of months of hard rainfall. My old one leaked, and when the sun warmed it up, the lens fogged up. Also, the black line that appears about 1/4 of the way from the left side of the screen happened when it first leaked.

He was 17 months when we set it up for him. He's loved it from the beginning. For the first few months he really only drove it backwards, only recently he's learned to use his feet to move it forward and steer. He takes his stuffed animals for rides and loves to sit in it and people watch. It's one of a few toys he's never lost interest in.
That is so sweet!
Can I ask how old your son is ? I just bought my 18 month old son this exact model. He looks around the same age. How did he get on with it ?
