Motion test was with 3dof platform running with a profile to calm things down.
Its getting better more dialed in feeling of one to one with the car.
Noticiable when going up and down hilly parts of the track.
I will be testing the full motion and shakers and wind in the next testing session.
The system is
4x frex hyperaxis 100 = Platform 3dof (pitch,roll,heave).
2x scn5 100 = Seat mover 2 dof. ( Sway,surge).
6x Aura bass shakers ( not all fitted yet)
2x 270cfm wind motors.
Lots more planned, but these test kinda tell me where i have to change things.
From my last video i have had to change lots if things to make it work better, i tried to balance the rig but struggled due to the side rails not long enough, so atm trying to save £300 on rails.
Balancing the rig would make it work with less strain on the actuator, also if they was at the ends on a longer side rails with equal measurements to the balance point, i would effectivly create a leverage with the distance used.
You xan fine tune all this aswell but idea would be get the weight closer to balance point centre and use leverage of lobger rails and actuator placements to ease the loads.
Atm i qm not getting any fails or heat issue on actuators, so this is looking great now for moving forwards.
Ps the rear frame work and seat mover frame is only temp for now have a better look and less mess to do, but for now i just want to make it work and then sort the details out later and make the mods then knowing it does actually work right.
