Just a quick bit about me and what i'm doing here.
I was a big sports card collector back in the junk wax era when I started collecting around 1989. I started with baseball and eventually moved into football and basketball cards. In the late 90's, college and other real life things happened for me and I ended up on a hiatus from collecting sports cards.
Needless to say I'm one of those big kids who never really "grew" out of it, amongst other things 😄
Although my card collecting had been off and on through the past several years, I know the Hobby is full of other collecting adults like me. I mean, how do kids afford these things nowadays without their parents?
It definetly has been interesting to see the boom that happened during the Covid 19 pandemic.
But even before all of that I've always had some fascination and fun with card collecting - most types.
