Once upon a time I LOVED to cook and was fairly decent at it. Lyme took my love and skill set away from me and it's now time to get it back, and what better way to do that than with some accountability! I hope these recipes help provide some inspiration, direction and support to the Lyme and Chronically Ill community to eat well and find joy in food again.

From my own experience, the experience of others I support and help and from the Lyme conferences I have attended in the last year there are three Lyme recovery trends I discuss in this video. 1. The importance of realistic expectations for treatment and recovery. 2. The 9-14 month Post Hyperthermia glitch. 3. The only thing doctors can agree on is the importance of the microbiome.

    • @alymelife8978
      @alymelife8978 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Christine, as with any medical procedure there are risks. I have seen 2nd degree burns on some individuals as well as an increase of seizure activity. This typically happens when the patient already presents with a seizure disorder prior to hyperthermia. No one has perished during this treatment. It helps with the viral load and with cancer. Sadly, it doesn't help with mold. We also had mold in 2020 and had to get rid of our possessions and move. It was a nightmare. The mold recovery process is lengthy. For mycotoxin testing I like Real Time Labs and Vibrant.

    Does hypothermia kill all of the spirochetes or just a lot of the spirochetes?

    • @alymelife8978
      @alymelife8978 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The goal is to kill ALL the spirochetes. There are a few instances where a person may need a 3rd hyperthermia (typically not at KSG but other hospitals). If any are left they will replicate. Bb behaves like a parasite in that it shoots off egg sacks every 42 days so if you don't get them all then you will continue in the disease process.

    Super beautiful rooms. The surf break is awesome! Did you get to see many people surfing there? with all the buildings, I think it might be hard to get down to the water. K-38 (for Kilometers from the border) If they hadn't kept you in the building and let you get out and drive around, there's a nice beach a little further south at K-55 too.

They want you on the grounds to make sure that you don't blow the treatment with beach volleyball, fish tacos and beers at Papa's and Beers! I've been visiting Rosarito since the early 90's and it's still a special place.

    • @alymelife8978
      @alymelife8978 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mason, in my opinion and that of European treating docs, yes. To our knowledge my spouse has never been bit but had the exact bands I did. When I first became sick we were actively trying for a second kid. My husband became symptomatic within 12 months of me. When I was in treatment in Germany Dr. Douwes gave weekly talks on the illness and he stated that he believed it was an STD. When I returned from treatment that’s when my husband got his labs done and confirmed he had it. Using basic logic, if syphilis is an std and borrelia and syphilis are in the same family why is there any debate over whether or not it’s an std? It can also be transferred in utero to a fetus.

    • @alymelife8978
      @alymelife8978 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's rude to answer a question with a question but here I go...What specific pathogens are you inquiring about? It cannot eradicate your entire viral load but it does reduce it and boosts your immune system to help get the remaining buggars under control. For some it eradicates Babesia for others it takes care of their Bartonella, like my daughter. Does the hyperthermia kill bartonella and babesia too? Also can it kill parasites and viruses dormant in your body or no? What about when having a partner can they spread lyme as an STD? Thank you!

    • @alymelife8978
      @alymelife8978 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Malena, great questions. The varying hospitals will tell you that the hyperthermia targets the borrelia and that is the pathogen that they can definitively kill. Now, our daughter had textbook Bartonella (cat scratch marks and all). I also had Bart and it killed our Bart. My Babesia load was not severe and it also took care of that. The viral load will be greatly diminished and the other treatments will help to boost your immune system to take care of the rest of the load. Parasites will also be diminished. Yes, it is an STD.

    I have to thank you miss. Since watching this exact video I went on an endevour about how to take essential oils. vimeo.com/user16668765 I found this guy called Greg Lee that explains everything everything you need to know about them and i follow his steps and I've still not completed the protocol but hell i got a great relief even from taking them only 5 days twice ( I had to stop them for unrelated reasons ) . This shit is the future. I think that oils are effective because they can penetrate inside the cells, where these motherfuckas hide, and because they are non polar, and sationary biofilm form of the bacteria is kind of non polar as well, it doesnt allow water soluble stuff to get in. But oils can penetrate without problem, and because they are oily, and our brain is fat, they can penetrate the brain really good as well.

    With respect to azlocillin, my understanding is that it is not now available as a drug that can be prescribed. At one time it was available as an IV drug. It has never been available as an oral medication, and in fact has poor bioavailability in the GI tract. I have read that Rajadas was working on developing an oral version of it. Do you have any info on when it might be available? I have intense interest in azlocillin, since I tried disulfiram and managed to do 3 mos. 6 days at max dose of 500 mg but had to stop due to severe depression.

If you'd like I can put you in touch with the director of admissions. please email me at ccarter@alymelife.com and I can tell you about their program and get the information that the director will need.

    Is been a long time since you did the hyperthermia treatment. I was wondering if you still think is worth the investment? I've done IV antibiotics before with good success but now Lyme is back...wondering if is worth it to try to get very aggressive with it. Thanks

      It has! In fact, it was this time 3 years ago that Bella and I were at the Klinik. I 100% think it was worth every damn penny and would do it again. My labs continue to be 100% negative. I am still repairing my microbiome and that has proven to be quite challenging. Please be aware that to travel to Europe right now you will require permission from the German govt. You will have to have a Covid test upon arrival at the Klinik and will have to quarantine until the results come in. I’m happy to chat about this and you can email me privately at ccarter@alymelife.com. Another viable option is Sanoviv in Baja, Mexico. You fly in to San Diego so the travel is much much easier. Either way you will get to the temperatures that you need and get the care that is necessary to beat Borrelia. Sanoviv does have a well developed co-infection protocol and Germany has just recently launched their's. If you would like help navigating either clinic I am more than happy to help.

      @@alymelife8978 Sanoviv is a medical quack! Do you also get paid from St George to mislead desperate people? (Its not an attack but genuine question.)

      @@Kzt436 I am genuinely curious why you feel Sanoviv is a quack? I have seen miracles come out of that hospital as well as St. Georg. I have seen stage 4 cancer cured. I have personally witnessed individuals with diagnoses of ALS who cannot walk, talk or feed themselves walk after 1 HT session...as for your question; yes, I do receive a small scheduling fee for helping to facilitate the process of admission toSt. Georg. I do not charge for my expertise in getting ready for treatment and if the person feels they need or want more extensive support after treatment then we discuss what that relationship looks like. I do not feel that I am misleading anyone. I, my husband and my daughter are success stories. Plain and simple. KSG saved my family.

      @@alymelife8978on google many sources are not that positive about Sanoviv as you. Some claim even its a scam. Even in the Netherlands we had one clinic who claimad to cure ALS, they are sued and convicted. To date there is no official documentated cure story about ALS. Its an incurable disease. Thank you for answering.

    I have been watching your videos all day as I am trying to do some research on Klinik St Georg and if people have had lasting positive outcomes. Just want to say that I am really enjoying your updates, sarcasm, humor, etc. I know these videos are old but I really appreciate that u took the time out to show your family's journey. I have been watching them in chronological order and it's amazing to see each new video how u look a little bit healthier each time. I sure hope that u and your family have had long-lasting success and health. Thank u so much

      Jamie, thank you! I'm just glad that you can't smell me through these videos! There is a FB group created by my dear friend Katie that I'm sure you know about but if you don't you can email me at ccarter@alymelife.com and I can give you the information. We continue to do well! Bella is going to be a Senior in the fall and is busy being a teenager. She was working and going to school until the Covid situation. She skied and played ultimate frisbee through the winter and spring. I'm doing well also. I had labs done again in the fall to finally get a grip on the gut stuff and again my lyme labs came back negative. So I continue to get the SIBO under control and work on the viral load. I will have a 3 year update coming. It's been a bit nuts with 3 generations being home 24/7 together...James also continues to do well. It was a game changer for all of us. Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions!
