Exactly, I think the last statement is correct. Too much is now being spent on nonsense or even just spilled. I don't care paying a lot of taxes but being involved with the taxpayers to get a say in where the tax money is going. Unfortunately, that'll never happen.

I think he does, actually.. taxes can be used for good things. But paying 40,50 or even 60 percent tax is crazy.

You don't have to agree of course. Taxation is good for a lot of things, but how can someone agree to pay 50 or 60 percent tax? That's just crazy.. nobody likes that.

@@allaboutdubai This confirms you don’t understand taxes. You do realize you don’t pay taxes after your salary right? Taxes have all ready been subtracted so the money you receive is all yours. And yes no one likes taxes but it’s better than having millions of modern slaves serving the people like in Dubai. They have no good life and pay the price for people not paying taxes. @@Anne-ho7dx I think you are wrong, let me explain why. Having Taxes subtracted from my salary is not what I was referring to. Of course I understand that. Also, referring to modern slaves is just shifting the problem. Why do you think almost everyone with hopes for a better life is going there? Because their local economy is far worse. I'm not trying to make wrong this right, but since you mention it, it is not the root of the problem. Next to that, people paying the price of the elite not paying taxes is a world problem. That is not an exclusive UAE problem, it's a 'west' problem as well, but we only have the illusion that our current system is well because we get paid 'well'. This is again, an illusion. Tax money is often not well spent, politicians are bribed and the system if often corrupt. This is not a conspiracy, but an everyday occurence. Aren't we modern slaves as well? We just might not be as 'woke' as we think we are.

@@allaboutdubai its approx +2hrs away from Dubai, Abu Dhabi is closer. Between Dubai and Ras AL Khaimah is Sharjah and Ajman... I guess your targeted Audience are American who have never heard of a map. But this is where you can educate them

That's what I personally like the most about this region. They understand what it takes to attract all kinds of people from all walks of life, but persist on keeping their traditional values that everybody needs to adhere to. Do not lie, RAK is not a 45 minute drive except at 5am from the north most part of Dubai , driving at top speed. From most parts of Dubai during evening or daytime, it is 1.5 to 2 hours drive@@allaboutdubai
