This FSR 3 update is very disappointing it made the game worse!

You can see me driving in the video, and like I said there is a weird flickering, but from what I tested I haven't seen any major fps drops.

I'm not sure since I can't test it, but 13600K is a very good gaming CPU. It should be the same on higher resolutions and Ultra settings.

I have a premium TUF cooler model(one of the best among 3080s) and I'm using performance bios(the card has 2 bios quiet is not so cool cause the fans are slower, whereas performance bios is using 77% fans speed) and your temps will also greatly depend on your ambient room temps u know, but this game is extremely overheating the CPU and also the GPU it's crazy. I'm also using an undervolt on the GPU(you can see it in the description box how much) but like I said the cooling system is already great with perf bios and the GPU undervolt(I use only a slight one) improves my temps only by 2-3 degree.

Hmm, don't know what you mean, but Wukong isn't graphically impressive at all in some levels and the game is oversharpened and the DLSS looks more blurry than other new games with DLSS, but the game uses only the base Unreal Engine 5.0 which is not very good, the current version is 5.4 and e.g. Hellblade 2 uses UE 5.3 and looks way better and also performs better cause there is a lot of improvement like nanite foliage and many other things whereas 5.0 is very heavy unoptimized and doesn't looks that good like 5.3. Also are you saying you are getting 4K very high and cinematics settings(what percentage dlss like 50?) over 70 fps on 3080? I highly doubt it maybe in the first chapter but chapter 3 and 4 are way more demanding.

I have already undervolted several times several methods, but the bios undervolt -30 doesn't work the temps will be lower but the performance as well. I also undervolted via universal x86 utility but it's also not good, but my temps are fine it was hot summer outside like over 35 degrees my ambient room temps were too hot but when fall and winter came my temps will be way better, or if the temps outside will be lower than 22 degrees. You need an AIO for this CPU and even though my air cooler is fine if the temps are below 80 it has no impact on performance the 5800x3d should be fine up to 90 degrees. I would be more afraid about the GPU temps, but my GPU temps are excellent!

@@jozadagames6818 i live in hot country daily temps 35 to 45c , i have to use the AC in the room, with 5700x3d i saw video for tech yes city for app to undervolt easier than bios work and it is preforming very well (-40mv) also the fans runs quieter now , i am using 240 aio push and pull , for the ram i saw improvement from going from 3200 to 3600 overclock for this cpu , for the gpu i am using 3070 ti with undervolt with oc to 1980mhz core and 10500mhz memory

There is no difference in temps it's just the 24h2 was recorded when it was 35 degrees outside during the day(the 23h2 was recorded when it was only 20 outside at night) meaning my ambient room temps were a lot hotter so that's why, and if the CPU has to pump more fps of course it will use more power especially at 1080p.

Nope, it will be similar now. Memory integrity needs to be disabled though. That was what making 11 much slower than 10 for most people

It's almost exactly same with my 7800x3d. I got 236fps 3440x1440p on collisto protocol max graphics no raytracing. Then I updated to the newest 24h2 version and gained like .3fps it was 236.97. Ohh all tests were on my oced 7900xt in admin mode. Now the real interesting was after I ran that test I debloated my windows 11 something i never did on windows 10. I kept the copilot and weather app. But mostly removed all the built in advertisement and spyware and useless help guide crap. I shot up to 248 fps. I was not expecting this.

IDK I didn't test this game, but this update is intended for the latest Zen 5 CPU and not all games will have a performance boost like I said in my pinned comment there was no difference at all in BM Wukong or Horizon FB

i'm not GPU limited in KCD and Assetto Corsa 1080p is not GPU limited bro it's legitimate way of CPU testing I'm not gonna test 720p or 1080p lowest just to see a maybe difference when the fps is already over 250 fps

1080p is not GPU bound bro it's legitimate testing, and this update is only intended for Zen 5 CPUs also it doesn't boost fps in every single game let alone on my Zen 3 5000 it was only mentioned that allegedly it should also benefit Zen 3 but nobody said by how much and didn't include any stats for it(I just tested it my self) and as you can see in KCD and Assetto Corsa it works, but not for all games Wukong or Horizon Forbidden west has the same fps when I tested it.

I think it's only for Windows 11 including the performance boost, and normally it was intended only for Zen 5(9000 CPUs) but it works the same for Zen 4(7000 CPUs) the tech people only said it should benefit Zen 3 5000 also(but they didn't mention by how much nor did they show any stats for it)

Sure, but if you noticed I use HIGH crowds in the benchmark which tests the CPU somewhat even in the benchmark, and look at the end results at the end it's data without recording

@@jozadagames6818 He does have a point though - the averages show only a 2.78% improvement with the 24H2 patch - which is smaller than in several of the other games - perhaps the difference in CP77 is actually bigger if using an in-game section to bench?

Is it? From what I saw of the CP77 bench, it seemed to be only 2.78% uplift - an uplift, yes, but near margin of error. (some say 3% is within margin of error - some say 2%)

There was no difference in CPU temp it's just I recorded the 23h2 footage when it was night and only 20 degrees outside and the 24h2 footage was recorded when it was 35 degrees outside, meaning my ambient room temps were a lot hotter, so that's why.

5-10w is not a big difference even in countries that have insanely expensive power.

This is because the processor is used more effectively. Normally the processor with higher tdp is used half as much. If a boosting algorithm is used to reduce latency, load distribution, allocation to performance cores, etc., it is normal for consumption to rise and temperature to rise when there are more usage spikes.
