Yes, it works better with dxgi for updated games that have dlss 4 if you want the K Preset or some games it's just that in my experience some older games didn't work with the default nvngx file, and e.g. latest update Alan Wake 2 doesn't work for K preset with winmm I had to use the latest dxgi instead. The problem is that the nexus mod all of a sudden changed the file to dxgi on the day when I uploaded the video nvidia changed something or whatnot.

I wouldn't use it for online MP games, altering files could get you banned even though this is not a cheat.

dont think so, since the dlss file is officialy signed by nvidia still, its just a newer version. if it lets you enter online without warning, then you re good. if game detects a faulty/suspicious file it'll just warn you and not let you go online - its that simple

Yeah, it doesn't work the same in every game. Also DLSS 4 wasn't updated for the game by the devs yet, so will see once they update the game with the next patch. Although I think it only makes a difference if you use it with Ray reconstruction and RT on but this it too demanding for the 3080.

You can see it in the video in the fps overlay(right side) but DLSS 4 wasn't updated by the developers yet officialy in the game(there should be an update in the near future) and it's not worth it without ray reconstruciton and RT but that's too demanding for the 3080.

Yes, 10GB on the 3080 was planned obsolence by NVIDIA!

it because it made better AA it literally removes TAA Aliasing Blurryness and other stuff no need to use 4K Resolution anymore. in my opinion. worth the trade tho even using DLSS 4 Performance shit still looks amazing on 1440P DLSS Performance

40 series cards see a lot less of a hit to fps, based on Cyberpunk I honestly think performance mode transformer model looks a ton better than CNN model in quality mode, using GFN ultimate can actually play full path traced, RR and FG in cyberpunk at 80-100fps, for me it is one thing looking at screenshots, where the transformer model really wins is in motion, cyberpunk is so fricking smooth and minimal texture smearing, hell even ultra performance mode which can do RT Overdrive at 100-120fps looks respectable, better than DLSS 3 at balanced, DLSS 4 is a literal game changer for so many people 😊

Yes, hope they update the game soon. DLSS 4 benefits the most when paired with Ray Reconstrucion for Full RT but it's too demanding for the 3080

Sorry to say mate but a GTX 860m is not going to run much these days as it's a laptop GPU so it's also stuck with, what would now be a very old CPU like a 4th gen i7. That sort of CPU with a 2GB VRAM GPU, just isn't going to cut it for modern games. You will have to stick to games from around 2015 and earlier. Unless you plan to play games past 2015 @ 720p on the lowest graphical settings @ 30 - 40fps. But yeah... you can forget about Alan Wake 2 I'm sorry to say. It will play Valorant and League of Legends just fine, so maybe stick with games like that.

I didn't play PUBG for a long time now lol but if the NVIDIA App doesn't suport it I would strongly recommend not to use the DLLSTweaks in MP competitive games, cause you could get banned for altering game files even though it's not really a cheat.

No, EnableNvidiaSigOverride.reg has to be activated just once it applies for all games.

DLSS4 and DLSS MFG are different things, blame Nvidia for their terrible naming schemes.

Yeah, it's a bad port by the Nixxes this time and although this game is PS 5 only and should be more demanding than the first SM pc game it crashes all the time. I hope they patch it soon!

@@Bbdoe98 You can, but you need to use something like 'DLSS Swapper'. DLSS Swapper allows you to individually pick which version of upscaling, frame generation and ray reconstruction to use on each game. It's an awesome tool for single player games, but don't use it for anything online/multiplayer/co-op etc as sometimes the anti-cheat in the game will see the .dll file swap as a mod and ban you. But if it's just single player games, it's highly recommended and has the latest DLSS Profile K so it's just as current as what the Nvidia App has. In fact, it's better than the Nvidia App in more ways than one. I use it over the Nvidia App for all my single player games as some games in the Nvidia App only use the latest DLSS version for upscaling, but not for frame gen. Where if I use DLSS Swapper, I can apply both DLSS 4 upscaling and frame gen to the game. It can be 'hit and miss' for some games, but the trial and error side is very easy, and if something doesn't work, you can either try a different version or simply reset the game back to it's default DLSS mode. So if the game supports upscaling/super sampling, frame gen and ray reconstruction, DLSS Swapper will let you alter each one individually to a version of your choosing.

Spider-Mand 2 came out only for PS5 and this PC version is more demanding with higher drawing distance and other improvements. It also runs like crap sometimes and crashes all the time lol hope they patch it soon.

@@jozadagames6818 yes i already did it. thank you. added lines in Engine.ini file and i see a huge difference. i also updated DLSS to Dlss 4 wia nvidia inspector and visual is even more crisp and perfect.

I used the settings with RT 4K DLSS P just to show the image quality difference and you will run out of VRAM with these settings in Dog Town cause of High Textures(this new area uses more vram) even with the old CNN model but the new Transformer model uses even more VRAM and so you have to use only Medium Textures for the DLSS 4 Transformer and these settings(you also need to use Medium in Dog Town with CNN but High is fine in Night CIty) but anyhow I ran the benchmark(Dog Town is not included in it) Average 59.57 fps

@jozadagames6818 Wow thanks for testing it so quickly! Yeah the VRAM was a big concern for me and wondered what you were getting so I can compare it to my settings. I've accepted that 10gb is not enough at 4k so I just run low textures, and other settings around medium. Also, I use DLSS UP but keep all RT settings on and Ultra lighting. I get 76.75 fps avg which is good enough for me.

It depends but you should get 16gb of RAM not just 8gb in dual channel and you have only integrated gpu.
