Launched at Col de la Forclaz and top landed on Le Charbon. Awesome place. Lots of wild flowers and other grippers to snag your lines 😆

After completing the little tour of the lake with a duckling on a brick we finally got high. It was 5:30 and I was looking out over Les Aravis towards Mount Blanc and knowing that with the high ceiling and a 15-20 km/hour tail wind it was still doable. It would have been a one way trip so I completed the little triangle and landed back at Doussard lz. One happy duckling 🐥 🙂

It was an unusual hazy day that saw me almost bombing out from launch several times. No footage of this as my camera was fouled in the speed bar line which I fixed after getting back to a safe height. From there it was the hard way (very low) to the north end of Des Dents de Lanfon where there was a climb to the top. Crossing the lake to the Roc des Boeufs and a little further south towards Cha...

The crossing did work but it was very weak when I got there. I called it a day and bailed to the lz
Back in Annecy (Dousard)

First flight back in Europe. Flight from Forclaz , which is above Dousard in the Annecy area.  It was a stable and weak day with an expected low ceiling. I did manage to get a little over 2300m which is just at the top of La Tournette. It was a nice tour of the immediate area. Does anyone know the fix to clean up the wind noise on the Insta 360?

I'd say it's Australia judging from his accent. Halfway between Melbourne and Canberra (middle of nowhere). Season is just starting down here :) Come for a fly!
