Yeah I’m working through some 2-card combos and I’ve yet to find the line. Primera+Stand Up almost gets there but the problem is even if you search bonds, Atrii can’t use her effect to summon from backrow twice. Synchro rumble gets you there for sure and I am running that after ROTA, but I’ll have to keep trying out the lines and see if there’s something I’m missing lol

Well it’ll be the norm for any video that requires me to use an online simulator!

Great question! I think pre-ROTA it’s definitely the best variant because Bystials hit Fiendsmith and Yubel so hard and Lubellion/Regained make comboing and grinding that much easier. Also Bystials give you a back up plan on the opponent’s turn if you only end up with one centurion in the back row. After ROTA though, Bystials might fall slightly out of favor since Fiendsmith will become less popular. It doesn’t discount the synergy with centurion at all, but using a bystial as a hand trap may become less common than as an engine piece. Also considering Primera Primus is now your best synchro starter over Auxila, the Bystials don’t really help you get into that. It will probably still be one of the better engines to test with Centurion but personally I think it gets a little weaker into ROTA format

Don’t use her draw effect when you summon her the first time, that way she can still be summoned again later in the turn

Chimerea is good in theory, but in practice I find that she’s another garnet I never wanna draw, which centurion already has a ton of, and any effect that would tutor her out, Stand Up, Emblema, Trudea, I will typically want a different centurion monster off of. Still up for testing it though

Ye I’m definitely running ogre. Even without E Tele it’s just really strong this upcoming format

Horus will likely work better with White Forest versus any of the rest of the engines I think, though it’s still real good in pure. Horus gives you easy spell/traps to use as cost for your white forest monsters and with so many more level 4 tuners it’s easy to get into Auxila. Horus may also be considerable in PUNK for more rank 8s. The important thing to note though is that Horus is already a 5-6 card engine, so if you’re playing with a Centurion engine AND another supplemental engine, the amount of non engine you can run will decrease further

🫡 I’m glad ur back on the deck bro!! The deck is way more powerful now since YCS Indy and the good thing is it plays through both Mulcharmies really well. Definitely gonna be a ton of feature matches coming up with the deck

@@localhammsammich this is my other account. Crossout hasn’t been in rotation. Called by has. The deck plays under Charmies super well and eats handtraps so easily that we haven’t felt Crossout was needed.

@@kengilbert1869 gotcha! That definitely makes sense. Engraver in hand with a centurion starter will eat all the HTs and you can threaten a Caesar even if you don’t run it so they’re forced to Nib. Then your NS is free real estate

Purrely isn’t super popular but is a tough one. Basically, having so many non engine is helpful cuz you want to halt their play before they can get to the big black cat. Hitting the small cats on their effects to xyz summon is usually best

sounds cool but doesn't do anything, Dragoon can only use its effects up to the number of Normal monsters used for its summon, which would be 0 if summoned with Duality

@@Choice_Scarf03it can only use the pop effect per normal monster used, but it’s omni negate can still be used. However I think Duality will end up just like Shadow’s Light did in post-LEDE centur-ion. Really cool in theory, however in practice Duality will be an unsearchable brick that doesn’t benefit your hand more often than not

Crazy how we’re getting two new level 12 synchro omni negates within a short time span, both of which can float into additional negates. And both coming in QCR most likely 🤩

The Synchro 12 is confirmed for the TCG and will be available as QCSR in the Structure deck, the Crystal Wing is for sure an Ultra or Secret, can't wait for both of them 👍

Yeah post ROTA I will probably bump Bystials down to at most 3, since they are still powerful against Fiendsmith and Yubel, but I could see them getting bumped down lower. Pure is first on my list to try after ROTA but I’ve got a few variants cooking, which there will be a big video on coming soon. Will probably also slot in crossout cuz it may be a necessity with Fuwalos around, however this deck can play pretty well around Fuwalos if you go for the old Auxila combo.

@Garalor So the line is correct. When you summon Atrii, don't use effect. Summon Auxila, search Wake-Up Wake-Up, summon level 4 token Wake-Up dump Phalanx Phalanx revive Primus 4 + 8 Tuner make Crimson Dragon Crimson search Synchro Rumble Crimson target Auxila, summon Blazar Synchro Rumble summon Atrii, Atrii draw Use Garg from hand to summon, sending the Trudea left in the s/t Summon Legatia You manage to use Atrii for a Synchro twice, and you loophole the Emblema lock this way too. @Garalor True. But if Nib is their only handtrap, they'll probably wait til you summon Crimson Dragon. At that point, you can use Primus effect to summon back, summon back Atrii with Rumble, and make Legatia, so you'll still end on wave 1 support setup. Alternatively, you could place Chimerea instead of Atrii to force Nib. Chimerea will be your 5th summon from s/t, you're turn player so you trigger Stand-Up as cl1 If they cl2 Nib, you can use Chimerea to "negate it" If they wait until Auxila, you search Wake-up with Auxila and play past Nib. The deck has more lines now that play past/through/force Nib, which is great since it's now encouraged to play into it.

As long as Princess destroys one monster it can still come out. If it said “both of them” or “both monsters” then it wouldn’t come out

Okie doke a few things here: 1. Primera at less than 3 is absolutely incorrect in my opinion, even if you start running bonfire, you are lowering your consistency of seeing the field spell. 2. Bonfire is great in this deck no doubt, however droll is becoming more popular and will only get even more popular after ROTA. getting drolled off a bonfire shuts you down immediately if you don’t have the field spell in hand. 3. Shifter is fine in this deck, however shifter in combo with just primera or stand up just does not work and after ROTA, the graveyard is valued way more for big combos because you want to get wake up, phalanx and gargoyle’s effects. 4. Rabbit and Apophis are good, however if I have the option to go rabbit or crimson on my turn, it’s crimson every time. Blazar is a recursive omni negate and searching synchro rumble extends combos way more after ROTA too 5. I actually do agree with crossout for ROTA format and ttt will probably become crossout in later builds You’ve got a lot of points there but those were the main ones I wanted to speak on. Builds are all up to personal preference of course and if that’s what works for you, then keep using it!

Oh yeah, 2 phalanx may also be worth consideration after ROTA. I think it’s value is quite good both for playing through Nib but also for extending combos

I tell you what I practiced the combos a ton on a sim but when it came down to doing them in paper I kept messing shit up 😂

i understand, but for example when you have patchwork and no fusion spell in hand you just fire that off, cause its better to get ashed there than drolled on ress of coatl search. and then since u had 2 coatl in hand you could just fuse off the 1 coatl and edge imp to make Berfomet and go fiendsmith combo to try and bait out interractions before you commit coatl. and if u get so far as to necroquip u can then go coatl effect and if they ash u still get a draw off the necroquip plus u still have nightmare apprentice and a fenrir to discard. just the top of my head what i would do
