    FYI, this video uses Next JS "pages" directory for Web Pages, and API Routes, a feature now being phased out. As of Next JS Version 13, the "app" directory is the replacement of the "pages" directory, to store your Web Pages & API Routes. Therefore, in following this video, you have 2 approaches; 1. Use the older "pages" directory, and delete the "app" directory when you run "npx create-next-app@latest", or 2. Manually, configure your project, to use the "app" directory, instead of the "pages" one. Hope this helps someone!

    As a designer with little coding chops, this is a bit of a challenge for me. But I am super impressed by the page download speeds compared to Wordpress themes that are often bloated & the plugin conflicts s and the security issues are a headache. Any hosting better than shared gets progressively expensive while static site hosting is FREE or very cheap. My main concern is how well it works with images & galleries from mobile-first and also SEO.

    Really great tutorial. I work with wordpress and I find the branch management UI in Tina very useful. Is there a prefered frontend framework for Tina, I see you used Next.js, but I wonder if the workflow can be done with Hugo. thanks!

    • @TinaCMS
      @TinaCMS ปีที่แล้ว

      Tina works with any framework, but if you want the live preview, you'll need to use a React-based framework (soon Vue/Svelte too) like Next.js. If you're interested in branching, here's a quick demo of our editorial workflow (branching + Pull Requests from within TinaCMS). This is only available to Business and Enterprise customers. res.cloudinary.com/forestry-demo/video/upload/v1689952753/demos/demo-editorial-workflow-docs.mp4

    Great video. I have the problem with my HUGO site in that the CMS (Tina) does not find any of my elements, it should find my posts but it does not. What could this be? May it be in the configuration of the settings.yml file? or in the config.ts file? It fails finding elements both in local development server and in my netlify deployment (using all 3 Tina tokens)
