Welcome back my man! I'm starting my first marine aquarium now. 55 gallons. Can't wait dude!
Corals actually use nitrates as a "food" so as long as they stay below 3ppm, they should do fine.
That's right big dog. Handle it.
Tanks are looking great!
Good to see you back. The fish room looks awesome 👌
Nice tank man. Thanks for sharing it. Corals look great.
Nice job. Hopefully the growth will continue. Keep it up.👍🏾
Good shit G. I'm in California.
Looking good my man! The 90’is going to look real nice when everything is grown out!
3 awesome setups! Welcome back man! Congrats on 100 subs!
this is the original. coral in nature see on the channel. this ( Masradin Channel )
Gorgeous! Keep it up brother.
Epic fish
How is Kalk+2 by brightwell?
Looks really nice!
What light are you using??
Man love your reef aquarium 👍👍👍 how often do you do water changes ? I recently started my 65 been running for about three months and recommendations
By the way just sub you channel too 👍
@El's Cichlids unfortunetly I sold my tank over a year ago because i had to move. I will however be upgrading to a red sea reefer 350 for my next tank. Stay tuned!
Aim for 10% of you tanks water volume. Keeping it at 10% won’t mess with your C,K,M to much if your dosing. Bigger changes mean bigger swings unless your new salt mix matches your tank parameters.
Super fantastic saltwater aquarium... I have a Redsea 170 34galler..
Very nice! I also noticed some positive results when I took off my skimmer.
Like what?
Sorry to hear that. Are you getting out of the hobby?
Fletcher Wright I am not getting out of the hobby. Just had to move to Okinawa japan for a few years. I will pick back up as soon as I get back to the states.
When are you going to do a update on the tank
Fletcher Wright sorry, i dont have the tank anymore
Really nice tank. Personally I think it would be looking better if you painted the background.
Great video, I am actually building the same set up. I am curious what size return pump did you use here and what size pvc pipe did you use for the intake and return? Thanks
Looking good Dairious! 👍🏼
very nice tank. great job!
Jake Atkinson thanks
Amazing tank. i added a 2nd Kessil 160 and my corals are fading. They are growing well but color is dull. I might have introduced light to quick. I have lowered intensity to help. Any suggestions?? How long do you think corals need to rebound weeks or months??
@eric olsen, I have been through something similar when I changed to the lights I currently have. you have to put the lights on the lowest settings and keep them there. Many times people think that coral has to be blasted with light in order to grow, not true. what I found is that my coral grew better at 15% whites and 60% blues (daily intensity). As for your coral, they will recover if you make the change now with the intensity level. If you wait longer then you might lose some coral just like I did. I didn't discover the problem until it was too late! You should also only run your lights for 6 hours a day until the coral adjust. I purchased 2 cheap $20 moon light led's for my tank. that way I could enjoy my tank at night. I hope this little bit of info helps.
Thanks, How long before I slowly increase intensity? days or weeks. I only have LED's no other sights.
I would wait weeks. Coral are funny like that sometime. You will know when they are adjusted but I would wait weeks! You will also be surprised at how well your coral will respond to the lower level of light!
Lovely looking reef :)
@Cesca's Reef thanks
Looking good, everything looks happy
SweatyReef thanks
looking good ... I scraped coralline off the glass also.
Tank is looking great man!
thanks
Looking good
can kalk help my 10 gallon all my corals are living but not looking good will it help
@vegas reefer, before dosing with kalk you have to make sure that you raise your alkalinity level to the right parameter. The alkalinity should be between 7-8 dkh. once you do that, kalk will be fine to introduce to your tank. just make sure that you go slow with dosing when you first start. adding too much too fast will definitely be harmful. I hope i answered your question.
It's beautiful man.
thanks
Just subbed ,I just came across your channel and dam bro the reef looks good
Bay Area Reefs thanks, it has definitely came a long way!
love your tank any advice for a nubie

Tank looks good bro! Keep up the good work!
Looking good. Love the growth. I suggest a black background or routing the wires so you can't see the thru the tank for a cleaner look.
