Having owned and sailed our Hurley 22 along the south coast of Cornwall, UK, for many years we have now moved up in size to a Sadler 29 called Elektra. Her home port in Gillan Harbour at the south side of the entrance to the Helford River.

The forecast was NW force3-4 but putting 2 reefs in main and half of genoa, we knew that the wind was much more.

Hard on the wind, crossing Falmouth Bay, Elektra is going well then a force 6 gust pushs her over on to her ear.

The weather men were giving a easterly gale for 20th September, this is the day before, we heading back to the Falmouth area with a forecast of easterly F4-6, I shook the reef out shortly after this clip and we made good time.
