I bought a fake one for € 165 off of ebay - the fake one has, like in your video, a spelling error in the german text on the box side. I don't know if it's even a good idea to write exactly what because they probably will correct it...

One other thing to look at are the markings on Mic. The real one has markings around the entire diameter where the fake only has writings on the top

thanks. I have a newer SM7b, my ears thought it was thinner and maybe fake. But your video clarified that its a real one. Very good details. Some actual measurements with calipers might help too, diameter of cable, rubber grommet on cable, small details measured on screws. Shure US is pretty global but seems the Fakes are flooding the market these days on many brands.

I bought Shure sm7b in local market of Iraq and now I know it’s fake and he didn’t accept returning it, I know there is capsule RPM 106 that i can change, but the switch part behind is still fake, my question for everyone is , if I buy the capsule and replace it my sound would be good or i need to change switch part too? Unfortunately i didn’t fine switch part anywhere on internet. Can anyone help me out?

Unfortunately the online companies like Alibaba, Lazada, Shopee and more make it easy to sell fake products. It's easy to hate China for their despicable business practices.
