    Can you explain a bit what do you do with the other, not incoming wire. THe incoming must be 2m in front of station. The manual states that the other wire must go around the station, and hook into the station with at least 1m of length. But yours from what I can see goes at an angle straight under the station and you hook it up? That works?

      The wire coming out the base of the base (connected to the black terminal) can be at right angles to the incoming wire but should not start in front of the base. The setup I've used is not recommended but you can get it to work.

There are 2 reasons I can think of for your position being unavailable: 1 - you have so much cover/ buildings that the mower cannot get a fix on your position 2 - there is a problem with the gps module in your mower I would try: 1 - update the software on your mower...even if it is up to date, refreshing the software sometimes kicks the gps into life 2 - I would take your mower to an open space and see it it picks up your position...turn it off and on and then leave it for 10 mins 3 - contact your dealer

      The wires need to be at least 30cms from each other. If you have a setup where the mower can travel along the same wire to get to an area as it comes back then the other wire can be at the edge of the passage as it will not travel over it. You also need to ensure that the mower won't go down the passage when returning to base i.e. have it traveling away from the wire on the return. You need to turn the border cut off or put a block in place to ensure it does not follow the other wire when it does a border cut.

    hi, looking great! can you share how you placed wire for base? thanks!

    • @therobotmower9572
      @therobotmower9572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, The wire going into the base (from a clockwise direction) sticks out into the garden and then doubles back on itself - if you look at the video just as it goes back to the base you'll see it turn into the garden and then back again to the base . The manufacturers spec. says it needs to be a straight 2m run but with trial and error you can reduce this. The wire coming out of the base, comes out the back of the base, around the right hand side of the base and then follows the perimeter of the garden. The manufacturers spec. says the wire should not go in front of the base so you might need to put the base slightly on the lawn but again with a bit of trial and error you may be able to push it to the edge of the lawn. Hope that makes sense. Paul

    did it need a perimeter wire to run this? I have small part of grass with no connection for robot, and I was thinking just to put it there to cut, and just bump from sides. would that work for ambrogio?

    • @therobotmower9572
      @therobotmower9572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, you do need a perimeter wire for the Twenty - this was just running in a demo mode. If you want machine that doesn't need a perimeter wire then we have the Ambrogio L60 (therobotmower.co.uk/product/l60/) or the larger S+. Paul

    Isn't the noise level a little bit high compared to other robots?

      Hi, it is noisier than our other mowers but this was a 2019 model which had brushed motors, the 2021 models have brushless motors which are much quieter (65 db) i.e. as loud as a normal conversation.

    The blade seem quite noisy when cutting - how is this compared to the 4.0 elite? In videos with the 4.0 this does not sound that noisy / whining or is this in the same level? Is expecting the blade design to be the reason but I’m not sure

    • @therobotmower9572
      @therobotmower9572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Overall the twenty is quieter that the 4.0 (57db vs 63db) and both are at the lower end compared to a conversation. The sound from the blade is quiet different when there is not much grass to cut - with the twenty, the blade does ping as it hits the grass.

      @nielschristensen3572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you - 4db in overall difference is quite a lot and is definitely a plus for the Twenty Elite. Guess the round 6blade cutter is stiffer on the 4.0 elite and causes less pinging

      It's been working really well, better than I expected as its in such a confined space but it can mow up to 1000 sq. m.. Have a look at our website form more details: TheRobotMower.co.uk. I've also posted videos of the installation if you haven't come across them: th-cam.com/video/BalpHLtGgEk/w-d-xo.html

      Hi Nazim, unfortunately it does. The only robot mower that doesn't need a wire is the L60 (th-cam.com/video/WHCAuFR3uzw/w-d-xo.html). Regards, Paul
