To answer your question about cattail, cattail based off the one from reflourished which is pretty much just vanilla pvz 2 with extra vanilla mode content so they had to basically make cattail be different enough to justify it existing with homing thistle already being present. When AltverZ and refourished crossovered, cattail was brought over keeping similar stats and abilities to the one from reflourished. Also the reason homing thistle plant food was so bad is cuz homing plants pfs do NOT like most of the custom ambushes and mechanics due to them relying on zombies to work, it’s really dumb.
