eu tenho o AH709 preto com 4 caixas ah429 9originais, e um Ah709 prata, mas a escala do preto é muito mais linda ligada pois é preta com a iliminação laranjada
Olá. Esse 749 em grave, médio e agudo? Caraca.. vc manja nos conteoles aí, hein? Creio que pelo jeito acho que nem tem necessidade de ligar equalizador externo. Acho que só ele já é possivel mixar musicas antigas com um tape deck de rolo.

Meu pai teve um desses! Aliás, além desse ele teve uns três modelos Philips parecidos, no início da década de 80, ele adquiriu um modelo Gradiente. Este toca disco é bonito, e me trás lembranças.
Tentei instalar um alto falante e só fica um som grave e não sai voz.

The record level (gain) and bias are both one segment too high. Both should be right at the 0 db mark (don't go into the red). It's a very nice deck though. I have one myself.
That's very correct and that goes also for all decks with rec-cal .either in between the arrows like my Technics rs-bx707 which probobly is the 0db or straight up to 0db like this one here and b.t.w you have nice channel i'm 1 of your subbers :-)

Com queda nos agudos a partir de 14 ou 15KHz, independente da velocidade e da fita ser Basf ou Gradiente. Testa com fitas TDK, Maxell ou Sony, pois Basf não é o bicho.

There you go you have no drop out at the last at all check it out when you switch the meters are almost identical you must have put it better CD or cassette in there I know that machine like the back of my hand
It's a fantastic little machine and what's nice about it you can hook a mic up to it and record left and right channel out of the mic
I spoke too fast I see you did it when you switch it to the right that is high speed if you would put a Maxell High epitaxial metal tape in with the Dolby off you wouldn't have near as much drop out
These all need recapping by now? I heard it’s a very difficult deck to work on. Looks great but I fear it.
The fast speed button is right in the middle at the top it runs the tape twice as fast but you can only get half the music on a cassette but the quality is much better only problem is when you play the tape on another machine that doesn't have that speed it will sound too fast
Dropout is significant unless you put it on fast speed and you have to use a high metal tape with the Dolby off

I just got one of these and I am not sure what they did to this in shipping but the tray is sideways. I don't think anything is broken but maybie just fell out.
Did it come with the cassette tray protector in slot 6? I picked up one of these systems for $3.99 and it works awesome.
What does a cassette protector do? The thing got damaged in shipping and I am sure Fedex will weasel their way out of paying for it . I am just trying to find someone who has taken one apart so I know what I need to fix. I did find one small black gear but, not sure where it goes.

@@lrg5705 Thanks for the response but the box was damaged in shipping. Thanks for the info. I am curious though if the service manuals talk about the mechanical assembly, the cassette tray. Have you looked through a manual like the one you talked about?
lindo mas ele aguenta caixas mas fortes
eu o tive & fazia par as caixas gradiente master78 porem em volume no maximo o overload nas caixas solicitava moderaçao. Pena que nos meus 14 de idade nao tivesse tito oportunidads para As Master100 ou as master 120 que por pesquisa percebi que o woofer de 12" era o mesmo das concert one Woofer com gap =woofer ventilado. Nao eh o ampli que aguenta as caixas, mas de acordo com a sensibilidade das mesmas eh que aguenta a demanda do amplificador. Desde q vc observe a impedância. =8 ohms para 4 caixas. ou Apenas um Par para 4 ohms .. boa sorte pra qm observa os detalhes 8 homs x tmb a tensao da rede 127 Volts no brasil .. raras excessos pra 220 ou melhor sempre q se tenha rede de 220 colocar no comutador de tensão do philips pra 240
