OUD SOLO, Maqam Hijaz, Maqam shooshtari عود, شوشتری, حجاز
In this video, I tried to provide an improvising based on Shooshtari ( Persian Classical maqam) and Hijaz (Arab and Turkish classical maqam). Of course, there are also some mentions of Humayun and Gūsheh Bidad, which rule mostly as a transition between Shooshtari and Hijaz. As you know, Shooshtari is considered a part of dastgah Humayun in the modern Iranian music system.
In Shooshtari, Shahed ( the pitch that holds the most weight within the Gusheh after Tonic) is the fourth pitch, stop is the second pitch, and its termination is the first pitch of Humayun. Shushtri's main reliance is on a five-note period which includes the first pitch to the fifth of Humayun and this is why it is located in Dong above Humayun. Shushtri has a wide range in terms of authority.

Abd al-Qadir Maraghi (born middle of the 14th- died 1435 AD), was an Iranian musician and artist who influenced both Persian and Turkish classical music to the extent that he is known as the "third grand master" of Islamic music tradition after Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina. This tuning is actually the classical tuning in Iranian oud playing, that is, fourth intervals are tuned based on the tuning of the first string on C❤️

Wonderful ❤️🔥❤️🔥 I used to play oud when I was a bit younger, a really nice instrument❤, but I faced some issues with arabic music and my poor known in my culture_I'm Syrien by the way_😅 ...so I changed to play classical guitar now.
