Greetings! Thanks for stopping by, and joining the community. It is the initial goal of this channel (as it first starts) to educate myself on TH-cam as a whole, the basics of content creation as a story, but also relative to learning new technical practices. I like learning, and look forward to learning from the work on this channel.

RV Life | AC Repair Update
Finding myself grateful for an RV that has multiple AC units!
While the RV techs that have come out have been super helpful, the process has more than drug out for this repair. If there is good news though, it is that I have still been able to control the temperature enough to not disrupt life too much. This is particularly important because I am a dog mom. The South Texas summer has started to subside a little, and I have still been able to manage the internal temperature of the RV.

Grew up here, at the very location where the "country store" was. Used to be an old grocery store gas station that my dad gutted and built a house inside.. Outside wasnt exactly anything to look at, but the inside was like a palace. RIP dad. Lots of memories in that town. Still looks the same, somewhat. Left and moved to Dallas in early 95 where I began my career. Thanks for posting, and that stop sign you ran has lots of accidents -some very fatal. Glad you weren't one of them!
Very cool to hear some history! Thanks for sharing. Be well!
Enjoyed the video! ❤
Good! We really enjoy exploring cities and places we haven't been! Be well!
I was raised there moved in 2018 kinda miss it lol lots of family and friends there
Glad we could help bring some memories back! Hopefully you can get back to see your family and friends.
This looks good asf
Now this looks good😮😮😮
Dry asf dam
It isn’t the same as the backyard pit, but on the road with limited space it does alright.
@@kro.productions naw when brisket is gray is died
Then you go do you 👍🏻 I will continue to seek how I can take some of the joys of brisket or other proteins to RV life.
@@kro.productions also why have a 300 item on the floor?
CCH has external bathrooms
Good to know! Thanks for tuning in.
I visited Raymondville 20 years ago and it was so run down and dilapidated, like a ghost town. It looks so much better now.
Not being from here I didn't know that. But I am glad to know it is looking better.
Just admitted but haven't actually gone to the campus. This helps!❤
Wow! I'm glad! Working in higher education myself I can't help but love walking university campuses. Best of luck on your new adventure!
Wow❤
It isn't fancy, but when you don't feel like cooking and like the Big Bang Theory...it will work. Thanks for tuning in. Stay well!
I grew up in Raymonville also. The Texas Theater. As a kid I saw ‘Shane starring Alan Ladd….best movie ever. And ‘Your Cheating Heart’, the Hank Williams story. What memories. Thanks so much for the video!
I love me some older theaters that feel like they have generational stories to tell! Thanks for tuning in!
I was raised here.
Fun. Thanks for tuning in!
Cotton warehouse = Gin 😊 born here. Raised here. Left in 1997
Good to know :) Thanks for tuning in!
Dive thru The next town and the cemetery! My husband is buried there! Federico Bernal
If I make it back there I can keep this in mind. Thank you for tuning in! Stay well!
I used to live in Harlingen for about a year and a half. While they were destroying US 2, it was really a drag trying to get anywhere. It is better now, but back about 2017..........
Driving US 2 frequently for work I can share a sense of that traffic pain. Thanks for tuning in!
Best kept secret of the RGV, middle of everything and very quiet. Has some of nicest residential houses if you know where to look (Treasure Hills). Can get anywhere in the Valley within 20-30 minutes.
Treasure Hills is a nice area! We looked at some property in that area for work related stuff. It was pleasant. Thanks for tuning in!
you drove down my street . . . how does TH-cam know this stuff?
Didn’t know that. But thanks for tuning in!
I grew up in Raymondville my relatives still live there i was a little girl but i got to see movies when the texas theater was at full swing i remember the inside very well the stores around there in the corner was a buster brown store my mom would buy our shoes there brought back lots of good memories thanks for sharing 🥰🦋🌻🐝
Sounds like some good memories. It’s nice to make the connections like that with places we pass through. Thanks for tuning in.
I live in Raymondville Tx
Thanks for tuning in. I enjoy just passing through places I haven’t been. 👍🏻

It's true. I can't say I hear of too many other coaches bailing out their university in the wake of a tuition increase. I hope there are plenty of coaches like that. If there are, I'd love to hear more about those coaches. Thanks for tuning in!
Donna here yea buddy
Thanks for tuning in!
I live here. Our only gas station is getting taken down lol
Really? I sometimes stop at what I remember to be the only gas station to fill up on drives to and from San Antonio. If that gas station closes I will have to find another one, I guess
@@kro.productions they are moving it near a highway sometime next year or sum idk it sucks they are taking our gas station 😔
That car at 3:08 was driving crazy and cut you off before the turn. Dang.
It happens sometimes. Stay safe and thanks for tuning in.
Not surprised. I've been driving over 33yrs, and these are the worst drivers I've ever seen in my life!! 😡
Sometimes drivers can be frustrating. Thanks for tuning in.
kro Productions, are you Texan ? At least 99% of the Rio Grande Valley is agriculture. Beautiful and serene, the quiet rural life. Many descendants of Mexican heritage, as the Texas - Mexico border was at the metro San Antonio area. Remember the Alamo ? Texas history was mandatory in the Raymondville school district.
I am not a native Texan, but here for work and finding small adventures here and there. 👍🏻
Seems like my hometown grew a little ? Downtown shifted east. Class of 1971, left home to see the world and exotic places. Yeah, like Vietnam. Weather and culture kept me on the West Coast since then. Miss the small-town life, not enough to leave sunny San Diego. Would like to hear from anyone in the senior class.
Thanks for tuning in. It hope you are able to connect others from your class!
Prayers from Newcastle, Australia
Many thanks! The "good" news with hurricanes is that you have some time to prepare.
My Moms Hometown
I enjoyed the day of driving through South Texas towns I had never driven through before.
I miss campus so much
Campus is growing. Be sure to drop in and take a walk when you are able.
I have the movie on my TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/Mc1tdkKfDjk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xKMer926SpmFecFK
Do I spy Beaver Nuggets in that bag?!
You do! We couldn’t resist those at the last minute at checkout. The other couldn’t resist item was a water bottle. We wanted to see how well their Yukon brand worked.
I was born in Raymondville and have family there we go almost every month
It really is kind of fun to jump in the Jeep and go see what we can see in a place we know very little about. Thanks for tuning in!
The Raymondville Courthouse is a historical building. And you also forgot to visit the chamber of commerce that's a little museum of Raymondville. You should have also passed by the High school it's a new school they built and we also have a new stadium. Good video though.
It is fun to get in the car to go explore and see what you can see. Thanks for checking it out!
Did you just run that stop 🛑 sign? 😂
Gosh. I hope not. 😂
Yes, went right through a blinking red light and a stop sign. Lucky it wasn't rush hour. HA ! !
Good thing! Oops :) Thanks for tuning in though!
You did not go by the beautiful cemetery! My husband is buried there ! You must be so proud of your self !
Sorry I missed the cemetery on this just passing through. Thank you for tuning in though. Be well!
Thanks for the ride and letting me come along. 👍🙏🏼
Glad you enjoyed! I love getting in the car and exploring places I don’t know too much about.
@@kro.productions …Likewise. I am the same way about exploring new places.
Hi from harlingen ❤
Good morning from kro.Productions. Have a good one!
Love me some Texas
I consider Texas home now, but admittedly; I am a transplant Texan.
Cool!
Small towns can certainly be interesting! Thanks for checking out the video.
@@kro.productions Your welcome!
😊 from harlingen
When you are not familiar with a location it can be fun to jump in the car and see what you can see.
It looks nice ❤
When you don't know anything about a place it is fun to get in the car and go see what you can see.
I would love to retire there...Selma Hayek eloped in Matamoros Mexico but her father forbid me having to do with...some really fond memories there in Harlingen i lived next to ups distribution center and Shipley donuts with the hospital across the street...
Glad you could take a walk through memory lane! Best wishes!
Bon appetit, bein provecho, getcha1. I know that's right! 💯🔥
So good
Hi, just to let you know, I really like your videos, but just one suggestion, can you add comments where you going or something historical, or just some background music, you have excellent videos, thanks and keep doing it!
Thanks for the tip!
what size of that seatpose?
You know - we just filmed a disassemble video this past weekend, and I did not measure it. But I know the Specialized Hardrocks seat posts can be a little finicky. As part of the research process for parts, I read that the common 27 is a little too large. We'll have to measure it out with calipers. But I wondered if I would have a hard time finding the correct size after doing some online research.
i love harlingen .i was born there. nice to see my hometown
Good! I'm glad we could walk you down memory lane. I feel like Harlingen has grown even in the less than 10 years we have been in the RGV.
@@kro.productions… Harlingen is in or on a growing spurt in the last 2 years thanks to the new mayor Norma Sepelvuda and commissioners. 👍🙏🏼🎈
With the recent completion of a bypass around it, Premont joins the list of small towns that one goes to only if there is a reason.
This is potentially sad, but true. I hear that. I, however; was happy to make a stop on the way through the other day. I realized I had forgotten to get gas, and was super relieved to travel through. Generally, speaking though - with many of these small towns; unless I am on a time crunch, I don't mind/kind of like to just pass through :)
Kro.productons. Yo~total epic dji- ✋
It’s like a personal pan pizza! Did you read all your books for Book-It??
I remember Book It 😂Those days were fun! But a personal pizza for dinner and one for lunch the next day when I ran home was good too.
Sunday is a day of rest.
Some Sunday’s are for rest for sure. Some Sunday’s we need to do a little work to get ourselves set up for the week. 👍🏻
@kro productions,it was a good looking house colonial type.but I guess whoever inherited just neglected it.most kids left town after high school,no jobs or future,p.s. love that husky on the backseat, what’s his name?
Her name is Bella, and she is a great co-pilot on car rides.
Nice video. We are considering this park for an upcoming trip. Thanks!!
Glad you liked it! We've been twice to this spot, and really enjoyed it. Hope you do too!
