Now the Covenant made with David was a Covenant of Salt in 2 Chronicles 13:1-5 The Covenant made with Phinehas was a Covenant of Peace Numbers 25:11-12 Sirach 45:23-25 States that Phinehas received a Covenant of Peace according to the Covenant made with David. The Covenant made with David was a Covenant of Salt. The precepts are showing us what the Covenant of Salt is, which is a Covenant of Peace. Although they are 2 separate Covenants, they are 2 separate Covenants that mean the same thing concerning their seed. Now concerning "Ye are the Salt of the Earth" . Salt means Peace and peace is obtained two ways by the Law and by Faith in Yahawashi. Concerning the Law: ISAIAH 48:18 O that thou hadst hearkened to MY COMMANDMENTS! then had THY PEACE been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea: PSALMS 119:165 GREAT PEACE have they which LOVE THY LAW: and nothing shall offend them. BARUCH 3:12 Thou hast forsaken the fountain of wisdom.[13] For if thou hadst WALKED IN THE WAY OF GOD, thou shouldest have dwelled in PEACE FOREVER. First I want to thank you for your honest answer. This has become rare in recent years in bible believing denominations. I am quite different from those today rather I walk teachings and doctrines from previous generations that were at that time almost wholly scripture with a lot less doctrines and traditions of men taught I went to bible school for 5 years after which I continued to study and translate Greek for 45 years. And have studied church history for 45 years from original writings than bias filled histories that justify said sponsoring erroneous teachings. Which actually were never taught as moderns now teach these. When I first believed there were senior pastors that had read the bible cover to cover all the days of their lives. Today there are none. Likewise there were senior pastors and teachers then that could properly translate Greek but in the last two standing generations Bible Believing Minister's all have become English only and have thus been crippled to be able to discern almost all things Christ and the Apostles teach that they are all quoted and cited from older scriptures. Just as the prophets and holy men and Solomon and David did. So that their words would not rest upon themselves but upon the whole of scripture. So by you I now understand where all this covenant of salt teaching is coming from. A tradition from the middle east. (That is a lot better than the traditions most churches hold today that CAN NOT be found in scripture as taught) However SIR, The actual words of this covenant can not be found in Scripture all covenants in scripture have laws that must be kept or the covenant is suspended for individuals for nations and for entire church denominations So in scripture what is written in a single verse is mention of two SEPARATE Covenant 1 of salt was given to David and his seed forever 1 of peace which was given to Phineas and his seed for ever. So one was for the royal lineage alone not even for members of the tribe of Judah The other was given to High Priests Alone not to Levites. Why Phineas was given this covenant of Peace is actually in scripture as it was for a deed Phineas alone stood up and did - To prevent God from destroying tens of thousands in Israel. So the Covenant of Peace we can say was to KEEP THE PEACE WITH GOD OVER ISRAEL as this was a general duty of the High Priest but was lost and Phineas Stood up and Fulfilled this duty and God acknowledged this. As to David and salt there is not a single scripture on any act or Deed David did. Not in the books we have NOT IN THE FULL GREEK SEPTUAGINT. which Jerome in 400AD called the Apocrypha which has been used since 400ad when Jerome's latin vulgate was first publish for the Roman Catholic Church. So there have been some missing books recovered since 1800, The Martyrdom of Isaiah, The Ascension of Isaiah (The first book is a shorter version with things in it that are not in the second) The second has far greater detail. (I am wading through some of these books many are fraud written by rabbis or written by roman catholic monks in the middle ages 2nd and 3rd Enoch are such. The current book of Jubilees is a fraud The book of Jasher is a fraud We have realized a simple test that proves a book is scripture or it is not Jesus Christ knew all books or Scripture all did his Apostles. From the 2nd Century forward there have been some 60 cannons of scripture where books were added and removed and others were never mentioned The test is simple If Jesus does not quote or ciite a book IT IS NOT SCRIPTURE that is how the book of Jubilees and the Book of Jasher we currently have Not a single verse is cited or quoted by Christ or an Apostle. Any book Jesus or the apostle quote and cite to teach with IS SCRIPTURE. But the modern church has shot itself in the foot going English Only so none of these will ever find the base scriptures quoted or cited in 95% of what Christ taught and Commanded. Also all Parables are quoted from scripture we have found 5 so far. The prodigal son is quoted from verses and phrases in the PRAYER OF MANASSEH The most evil king of Judah is the prodigal who was dragged in chains to babylon where he died in prison but a scribe recorded Manasseh's repeated prayer for forgiveness which the parable states the father accepted. Which infuriated the rabbis . And there is a second parable in this parable about the good son who obeyed nothing the father said. Correct the New Moon usually starts after the vernal Equinox. Now in certain instances it may start before if the New Moon in March is just before the vernal Equinox, but for the most part it'll be after.

So these commandments must be kept with our Faith in Yahawashi and by this we will overcome the world and be saved.

Now if you still keep the Sacrificial Law, Yahawashi will benefit you nothing because he is our Sacrifice, so when the bible says we no longer keep the Law understand that it's speaking only of the Sacrificial Law. The other aspect of the Law are still applicable to us. Meaning you should not commit adultery becuz Adultery is a Moral Law, Don't eat Shrimp Crab or Cat Fish becuz that is the Diatary Law. Keep the Passover Pentecost and Feast of tabernacles becuz that is the Ceremonial Law. Remember bro this is all Love.

Now when Yahawashi told his disciples not to go to the Gentiles he was speaking of real Gentiles of the other nations because the mission is the Children of Israel. Now concerning the vail being torn and the change. To understand this we must understand the Law. In the law there are 5 categories: Ceremonial, Dietary, Civil, Moral, and Sacrifical so when the vail tore there was a change in the Sacrifical Law meaning there was no longer a need for animal sacrifices because Yahawashi Is that ultimate sacrifice. So we continue to keep the Law: Ceremonial, Dietary, Moral, Civil minus animal sacrifices because we now have Yahawashi. So even though we no longer have to bring animals for a sacrifice we still have a sacrifice for YAHAWAH through Yahawashi so not one jot or tittle still has not passed from the Law.
